Also described herein is an exercise device comprising a pair of tubular members coupled to each other by at least two limit members, wherein an elastic tension member is routed through a bore within each of the tubular members, and wherein the exercise device further comprises an adjustment member positioned at an outer end of each tubular member, each adjustment member including a wire having at least one protuberance, the wire of each adjustment member fixedly coupled to an end of the elastic tension member.

EXERCISE SYSTEM FOR EXERCISING OBLIQUE MUSCLES AND METHOD OF USING THE SYSTEM
20200324160 · 2020-10-15 ·

An exercise system for exercising a body's oblique muscle group relies upon a wheel mechanism having an outer wheel portion arranged at a first radial distance and an inner wheel portion arranged at a second radial distance, where the outer and inner wheel parts include respective sets of handgrips. A weight system is arranged to be coupled to and decoupled from the wheel mechanism. A coupling mechanism couples the weight system to and decouples the weight system from the wheel mechanism, in a first circumferential direction, or in a second circumferential direction. The hand grips allow a user to grasp the wheel mechanism and turn it in the first or the second circumferential directions against a respective force that the wheel mechanism is turned against that is defined by the aggregate selected weight when coupled to the wheel mechanism, in one of the first and second circumferential directions.

Rehabilitation device and its use for exercising the shoulder region

The present invention relates to a rehabilitation device adapted for rehabilitating and/or exercising the shoulder region of a user, as well as to the use of such a rehabilitation device. The device enables an upright position of the upper body during the exercise, and shoulder supports holding the shoulder position of the user stationary during the exercise, in order to direct the muscle activation precisely into the small muscles of the shoulder region.

Elastic band for use in a resistance-type exerciser

Improved exercise assemblies and related methods of use are provided. More particularly, the present disclosure provides advantageous exercise assemblies that are adjustable, changeable and/or rotatable. The present disclosure provides for an exercise assembly that can function as a straight pull-up bar in one arrangement, and can also function as a dynamic, range-of-motion exercise assembly in another arrangement. The exemplary exercise assembly includes an advantageous design that permits users to not only perform straight bar pull-ups, but also allows users to quickly and easily convert the assembly into a two-handled, variable resistance, bicycle-style crank (e.g., a rotating bicycle pull up bar assembly) in which the user rotates two handles of the bar similar to how a cyclist rotates bicycle pedals.

Triceps press exercise machine with a moving user support

An exercise machine for performing triceps press exercises, including a moving user support that supports a user in a seated position. The exercise machine includes a linkage assembly that allows the moving user support to tilt as the user performs the triceps press exercise. As the user extends his or her arms from an exercise starting position to an exercise ending position, a user support frameand thus the user's torsoreclines progressively backwards. The user's natural reaction to this reclining sensation is to bring his or her head forward, which encourages the user to plant his or her lower back firmly into a stable position against a back pad and in turn reduces a risk of injury associated with excessively arching of the lower back.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING EQUIPMENT WITH MULTIPLE MOVEMENT PLANES FOR BACK EXERCISES

A back exercise machine includes: a resistance element; a user support; a first movement element, the first movement element having: a column; and a first connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a first axis associated with the first connecting element, wherein the first connecting element is movably coupled to the column such that the first connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the column; and a second movement element, the second movement element having: a rail; and a second connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a second axis associated with the second connecting element, wherein the second connecting element is movably coupled to the rail such that the second connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the rail.

Strength training apparatus

Embodiments of a strength training apparatus and related methods are provided. In one embodiment, a strength training apparatus may include a tower, a first arm and a second arm each pivotally coupled with the tower and each being configured to be selectively positionable independent of each other at multiple angles relative to each other, a first pulley coupled to an end of the first arm, a first cable extending through the first arm and the first pulley, a second pulley coupled to an end of the second arm, a second cable extending through the second arm and the second pulley, a magnetic mechanism coupled to the first cable and the second cable and configured to provide multiple levels of resistance to a user pulling on the first cable and/or the second cable, and a control panel located on the tower.

Multipurpose exercise training device
20200215373 · 2020-07-09 ·

An exercise device having many advantageous features is described, including the ability to provide a user with multiple modes of training by transforming the device into different configurations. Users can exercise their cardiovascular endurance by using the device in its jump rope configuration. Users can also engage in muscular resistance training using the same device configured to one of multiple possible resistance training configurations. Resistance training configurations provide a method of suspending a user's bodyweight from an anchor point such that a user can train their muscular strength capacity by exerting themselves against the force of gravity. Resistance can be selected from nearly zero resistance to the user's full body weight, with the ability to easily adjust between exercises and between users, and the ability to easily transform the device between configurations to provide for versatility and ease-of-use. The device includes an inelastic length member with two handles and/or grips at both ends. In one embodiment, the device also includes handles that can be detached from complimentary clips located at the terminal end points of the inelastic length member such that the clips can secure to each other or to designated points on the inelastic member for the purpose of easily transforming the configuration of the device. This multipurpose, portable exercise device is compact and can be used to perform jump rope exercises or bodyweight suspension exercises. To perform jump rope exercises, users can manipulate the handles to exert a centrifugal force on the device to swing the inelastic member about their body. Users can perform bodyweight suspension exercises after securely mounting the device to an anchor point by and subsequently pulling or pushing one or both of the grips away from the anchor point.

ROLLING OR SLIDING INCH-WORM STYLE EXERCISE PLATFORMS
20200215382 · 2020-07-09 ·

Non-stationary exercise inch worm style platforms are supported by either several skateboard trucks or large wheels on the outside of the platforms. The skateboard trucks include wheels secured to the platform via screws or other fastening mechanisms. At least one wheel includes a ratcheted or clutched one-way bearing to limit movement of the wheel in the desired direction(s). Notched wheels in combination with a track secured to the floor or a greased metal rod or pipe secured on the underside of several platforms can be utilized for further controlling directional movement. Where several platforms are used, the use of a secured stop on the rear platform allows the front platform to move forward as the user's abdominal muscles provide energy for moving the platforms in one direction. Hand-controlled break rods with rubber or plastic stops allow the user to control the pace at which the board is used.
