Scalable integration of hybrid optoelectronic and quantum optical systems into photonic circuits

A process is provided for the high-yield heterogeneous integration of quantum micro-chiplets (QMCs, diamond waveguide arrays containing highly coherent color centers) with an aluminum nitride (AlN) photonic integrated circuit (PIC). As an example, the process is useful for the development of a 72-channel defect-free array of germanium-vacancy (GeV) and silicon-vacancy (SiV) color centers in a PIC. Photoluminescence spectroscopy reveals long-term stable and narrow average optical linewidths of 54 MHz (146 MHz) for GeV (SiV) emitters, close to the lifetime-limited linewidth of 32 MHz (93 MHz). Additionally, inhomogeneities in the individual qubits can be compensated in situ with integrated tuning of the optical frequencies over 100 GHz. The ability to assemble large numbers of nearly indistinguishable artificial atoms into phase-stable PICs is useful for development of multiplexed quantum repeaters and general-purpose quantum computers.

System and method for contact identification
10708418 · 2020-07-07 ·

Technologies for routing an outbound telecommunication from an enterprise telecommunications device to a destination telecommunications device in a contact identification system are disclosed. The system determines the classification of a dialed address using a number plan that may be created by a user from a plurality of predetermined match types. Once the classification of the dialed address is determined, the system routes the outbound telecommunication on a routing path chosen for that classification of telecommunication. Additional embodiments are described herein.

System and method for dynamic multifactor routing

A system for selecting communication routes based on multiple criteria is disclosed. The system can dynamically update route ranking criteria without loading new data tables. Further, the system can be implemented in the context of a route ranking system that provides a list of routes for processing or completing a call. The list of routes can be generated in a ranked order to facilitate attempts to route the call based on the predefined routing criteria. Further, the route ranking system can determine the list of routes based on one or more criteria including, for example, margins, call type, and vendor ratings, to name a few. Advantageously, modifications can be made to values associated with the routing criteria without requiring the loading of new tables associated with the routing criteria. These modifications can be associated with an expiration condition thereby enabling increased flexibility in determining the list of routes.

Origination and Destination Based Routing

One or more aspects of the disclosure relate to various functions and processes related to routing of calls based on origination and/or destination information. In one aspect, a method may comprise receiving a request for a call session, and the request may include an indicator that may indicate whether to route a call based on origination and/or destination information of the call session. Based on the indicator, a routing element may determine whether the call session should be routed based on origination information and/or destination information.

A method and a system for receiving streaming media from an external provider onboard a moving vehicle via wireless communication is disclosed. The method includes: checking, upon a request from a client device to obtain a streaming media from said external provider, whether a segment of said streaming media is available in the cache or not; forwarding, when a segment of the requested streaming media is available in the cache, the segment of the streaming media object to the client device from the cache; downloading, when the segment of the requested streaming media is not available in the cache, the segment of the streaming media object from the external server, and forwarding the downloaded segment to the client device, and storing the segment in the cache.

Managing physical network cross-connects in a datacenter

A datacenter is represented by a datacenter model including instances of data object instances that represent ports of endpoints, intermediate ports of network components, and cross-connects between ports. In response to receiving specification of a source and destination endpoint, a computer system identifies a path through the data center according to the datacenter model. The path may be identified from among a plurality of candidate paths through the datacenter according to one or more criteria such as speed, capacity, quality, and path length. The path may be output to an operator for implementation and may then be tested. Cross-connects added according to the path may then be added to the datacenter model.
