Upper leg and hip exercise method and device to preserve knee and ankle joint while exercising.
Provided is an exercise device for performing exercises suitable to strengthen thigh and hip muscles such as a leg press machine, a total hip, and more particularly provides an exercise device for strengthening thigh and hip muscles while protecting the knees and ankle joints by enabling a user to locate a lower end of an arm on the user's thigh in a sitting or lying position and move the user's legs in order to minimize a load or stress added to the knee and ankle joints.

Upper leg and hip exercise method and device to preserve ankle and hip joint while exercising
Provided is an exercise device for performing exercises suitable to strengthen thigh and hip muscles such as a leg press machine, a total hip, and more particularly provides an exercise device for strengthening thigh and hip muscles. The exercise method and the exercise device improve the exercise effect of strengthening thigh and hip muscles by increasing a hip joint motion range and a rotation axis.
Apparatus, system and method for power measurement
A power measurement device, which may be mounted to an inside area of a crank arm, includes processing circuitry within a housing. The processing circuitry is coupled with strain gauges mounted on the crank arm, and produces a power value that is wireless transmitted to a separate display that may receive and display power measurements. The housing may include a mounted portion and a cantilever portion where the mounted portion houses the processing circuitry and the cantilever portion houses batteries supply energy for the processing circuitry and other features.
BICYCLING EXERCISE APPARATUS
An apparatus permitting a user to perform a simulated bicycling exercise is provided. The apparatus includes a frame, a first upper rear mounting point and a second lower front mounting point configured to maintain the frame, the first upper rear mounting point having an upper rear movable rotating joint, a seat connected to the frame and configured to support the user in a forward facing orientation, a wheel positioned in association with the frame, a set of pedals configured to interact with the wheel, a stem passing through the head tube, and a connection arrangement connecting the stem to a base. The frame is configured to pivot about the first upper rear mounting point and second lower front mounting point in response to leaning by the user, causing rotation of the stem by the connection arrangement.
Bicycling exercise apparatus
An apparatus enabling a user to perform a simulated bicycling exercise includes a frame, two mounting points defining an axis, the two mounting points comprising an upper rear mounting point comprising an upper rear rotating joint and a lower front mounting point comprising a pivoting connection arrangement proximate to and interacting with the frame, the pivoting connection arrangement comprising at least one resistive element configured to provide resistive force returning the frame to a neutral centered orientation from an off-centered orientation and pedals associated with a wheel and the frame, the pedals enabling the user, when facing forward, to apply force to the pedals and rotate the wheel. The frame is configured to receive forces from the user and dissipate the forces into frame leaning forces such that the user has an ability to cause the frame to pivot about the two mounting points by leaning to one side.
Indoor training bicycle device
An indoor, stationary, bicycle training device that provides advantages over conventional designs of exercise bicycles is provided. The stationary bicycle may include a tilting/pivoting mechanism to orient the indoor bicycle to simulate descending or climbing. The indoor bicycle may include flexible and resilient frame elements to support the indoor training device to move side-to-side under some riding situations thereby simulating the side-to-side swaying motion of an outdoor bicycle under the same riding situations. The indoor bicycle may include several combinations of frame adjustments to provide configurable dimensions of the indoor bicycle to adjust the frame to properly fit the rider, which may be adjusted based on corresponding dimensions of a user's outdoor bicycle. Still other aspects of the stationary bicycle device may aid in creating an outdoor feeling while using the device.
Monitoring joint extension and flexion using a sensor device securable to an upper and lower limb
A system for rehabilitation includes an electronic device comprising a memory device for storing instructions, a network interface card, and a sensor. The system for rehabilitation further includes a processing device operatively coupled to the memory device, the network interface card, and the sensor. The processing device is configured to execute the instructions to determine a plurality of angles, wherein the plurality of angles comprises at least one of the following: angles of extension of a first body part of a user extended away from a second body part of the user at a joint, and angles of bend of the first body part retracting closer toward the second body part. The processing device is further configured to execute the instructions to transmit the plurality of angles to a computing device controlling an electromechanical device, via the network interface card.
Hockey training apparatus
A hockey training apparatus may comprise a backrest. The backrest may support the back of a user during use. A harness may comprising one or two straps connected to the backrest. The user may pedal and practice puck stickhandling techniques that include moving the puck in front of the frame between a right side and a left side of the hockey training apparatus. The frame of the hockey training apparatus may comprise a back section in contact with a floor and a backrest tube for mounting and supporting a backrest post of the adjustable backrest. The frame may also have a middle section for mounting and supporting the crankset, pedals and axle and a front section in contact with the floor, but preferably without any handles or other structures in front of the user that would interfere with side to side movement of a hockey stick by the user.
Swingable mechanical structure
A swingable mechanical structure installed to fitness equipment or bicycles includes a machine base, a swing mechanism, and an auxiliary bracket. The swing mechanism includes a rotating shaft, a tilt member, and a swing post. The rotating shaft of the swing mechanism is installed into an assembling slot of the rotating shaft. Both ends of the auxiliary bracket are assembled to the machine base and an end of the swing post. When the rotating shaft is rotated, the rotating shaft is rotated to an angle with the respect to the tilt member, so that the swing post may swing together with the tilt member sideway and rotated around the tilt member. One of the ends of the swing post is limited by the auxiliary bracket, so that the swing post can just swing sideway to produce a mechanical structure with a force input and output conversion.
