ENHANCED VEHICLE AUDIO SEAT EXCITATION WITH INDIVIDUAL PASSENGER CONTROLS
Systems and methods for enhanced vehicle audio seat vibration with individual passenger controls. An example system includes a controller configured to obtain an input audio signal. The controller filters the input audio signal via one or more filters, with the one or more filters including a low-pass filter. The controller is in communication with a multitude of intensity controllers usable by respective persons within a vehicle, with the intensity controllers specifying respective intensities. The controller configures an amplifier based on the respective intensities, and the amplifier causes output from seat exciters configured for mounting on seats of the persons.
PILLOW SPEAKER RELAY CIRCUIT, PILLOW SPEAKER, AND METHOD FOR SAME
The present disclosure provides a method for determining a presence of a relay in a pillow speaker, including sampling a voltage of a relay drive line to detect a first feedback state; providing a control signal to activate the relay drive line; sampling a voltage of the relay drive line during activation to detect a second feedback state; and comparing the first feedback state and the second feedback state to detect a presence of a relay. In another aspect, a pillow speaker relay circuit includes a relay drive line with a relay terminal configured to connect to a relay such that current flows through the relay when the relay drive line is activated; a control circuit operable to activate the relay drive line, and a feedback detection circuit configured to detect a voltage of the relay drive line; and a controller to perform any of the disclosed methods.
TUNING CALIBRATION TECHNOLOGY FOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACOUSTICALLY CORRECTING SOUND LOSS THROUGH FABRIC
An audio-enhanced furniture system comprises: a furniture assembly; an upholstery fabric at least partially covering the furniture assembly; and a speaker system positioned within the furniture assembly, the speaker system including a speaker covered by the upholstery fabric. The speaker is configured to be tuned to compensate for sound being emitted from the speaker through the upholstery fabric. A method of tuning a speaker to compensate for sound being emitted through upholstery fabric comprises: selecting a baseline equalization, configuring the speaker to emit sound at an actual equalization approximate to the baseline equalization; covering the speaker with an upholstery fabric; measuring a resultant equalization as the speaker emits sound through the upholstery fabric; calculating a differential equalization; and reconfiguring the audio system to emit sound from the speaker through the upholstery fabric according to the baseline equalization by adjusting the actual equalization by the differential equalization.
REPRODUCTION APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR THE SAME
A reproduction apparatus that realizes reproduction of which sound leakage is small with use of a speaker installed near a head, and a method and a program thereof are provided. The reproduction apparatus is used in a seat. The reproduction apparatus includes: at least two speakers; an acquisition unit that acquires, from a predetermined sound source, an acoustic signal of which sound is emitted by the reproduction apparatus; and a control unit that controls the acoustic signal acquired by the acquisition unit such that reproduction sound is only transmitted to a first seat and the reproduction sound is not transmitted to a second seat, the speakers each emit sound of the acoustic signal controlled by the control unit, and the speakers are disposed so as to be closer to an ear of a user that sits in the first seat than to the second seat.
CHAIR INCLUDING MULTI-CHANNEL SOUND SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a chair including a multi-channel sound system, and more particularly, to a chair including a multi-channel sound system capable of providing a sense of space and a three-dimensional effect to a user who sits in the chair through sounds output from a plurality of channels.
Vibration device using sound and system comprising the same
Provided is a vibration device using sound and a system comprising the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a vibration device for generating vibration using sound such that the beat of the sound can be felt, which is convenient to carry or transfer due to a lightweight and compact size thereof, is capable of generating vibration matching the beat of sound to which a user is currently listening, is furthermore capable of generating vibrations of various feelings matching the beat of sound according to user settings, thereby greatly enhancing effects that the user may feel, and is very inexpensive to manufacture, and a system comprising the vibration device.
Near to the ear subwoofer
A loudspeaker arrangement for a seat within a motor vehicle utilizes one or more localized sound output ports for low frequency sound reproduction. A housing, such as an enclosure, substantially surrounds a loudspeaker. One or more audio transmission line channels acoustically interconnect the interior of the enclosure to one or more sound output ports. The enclosure is situated below, behind, or in some fixed location around or within a vehicle seat. The sound outputs ports are situated at or near a headrest such that the output ports are located substantially less than a wavelength of sound at the highest operating frequency from either ear of the seat's occupant. The acoustic response and resonances of a 1) rear enclosure, 2) a front vented enclosure, 3) a loudspeaker, and 4) an audio transmission path from the enclosure to one or more output ports are used to provide localized low frequency sound reproduction.
Sound system
A sound system is shown in the form of a speaker with or without a speaker box. A front member may be used with an elongate open portion with a top end and a bottom end and a speaker support with the speaker mounted to the speaker support. The speaker support may be coupled to the front member with a front of the speaker facing the front member and the front of the speaker substantially aligned with the bottom end of the elongate open portion. The bottom end of the elongate open portion may be positioned adjacent to a lower portion of the back of the torso of a user and the top end of the open portion is positioned higher near the back of the torso of the user. This combination may be used in a backpack, a chair or any other similar device.
Backrest speakers
Various implementations include seats and related loudspeaker assemblies. In particular cases, a seat includes: a seat headrest portion; a seat backrest portion; and a loudspeaker assembly associated with the backrest portion. The loudspeaker assembly can have an acoustic directivity angled upward above a nominal ear position of an occupant.
SOUND SYSTEM
A technology is provided that reduces noise heard when a user sits in a seat of an aircraft, without using earphones or headphones. A sound system includes: a control system that generates a control signal for canceling noise in a place close to a head of a user using a seat of an aircraft, from a signal of the noise (noise signal); and a noise-cancellation speaker system including speaker units that emit sound based on the control signal (first noise-cancellation speaker unit, . . . , M-th noise-cancellation speaker unit), the noise-cancellation speaker system being installed at the place close to the head of the user using the seat, wherein assuming that a direction in which the m-th noise-cancellation speaker unit faces the user is an m-th noise-cancellation user direction, the m-th noise-cancellation speaker unit is disposed such that sound emitted from the m-th noise-cancellation speaker unit in the m-th noise-cancellation user direction is canceled in a place other than the place close to the head of the user using the seat, due to bending around of sound emitted from the m-th noise-cancellation speaker unit in an opposite direction to the m-th noise-cancellation user direction.
