Audio device comprising a microphone
An audio device includes a microphone, a sound canal allowing sound to pass from the surroundings to the microphone, a signal path from the microphone to a receiver, and a current source, such that sounds received at the microphone may be enhanced and presented at the ear level of the user. A protection screen is provided at the sound canal, and includes a first surface which faces the surroundings and a second surface which faces the sound canal, and defines a slit-formed opening between the first surface and the second surface. The curvature between the first surface and the slit-formed opening is smooth and gradual, and a sharp edge is located at the transition between the second surface and the slit-formed opening.
MINIATURE SPEAKER
The present invention relates to the technical field of electroacoustic products. Disclosed is a miniature speaker. The miniature speaker comprises an upper housing and a lower housing combined together. A vibration system and a magnetic circuit system are accommodated in the space defined by the upper housing and the lower housing. The upper housing is disposed close to the vibration system. The miniature speaker also comprises a hearing-aid voice coil. The hearing-aid voice coil is fixed to the upper housing and is located at the inner side of the upper housing. The miniature speaker of the present invention solves the problem of poor acoustics caused by collision of a lead wire of a vibrating voice coil with a hearing-aid voice coil of a miniature speaker in the prior art, and the miniature speaker of the present invention has good acoustic performance and a better hearing-aid effect.
EARPIECE WITH MOVING COIL TRANSDUCER AND ACOUSTIC BACK VOLUME
Various implementations include audio devices and related earpieces. In certain implementations, an earpiece includes an electro-acoustic transducer and an acoustic back volume configured to provide a desirable fit along with desirable acoustic performance. In some particular aspects, an earpiece includes: an electro-acoustic transducer; a housing supporting the electro-acoustic transducer such that the housing and the electro-acoustic transducer together define a first acoustic volume and a second acoustic volume, the electro-acoustic transducer being arranged such that a first radiating surface of the transducer radiates acoustic energy into the first acoustic volume coupled to an outlet and such that a second radiating surface of the transducer radiates acoustic energy into the second acoustic volume, where at least a portion of the second acoustic volume is located between the first radiating surface and the outlet.

HEARING ASSISTIVE DEVICE COMPRISING AN ATTACHMENT ELEMENT
A hearing assistive device comprises a multi-microphone system for providing a processed input signal. The multi-microphone system comprises a multitude of microphones for picking up sound from an environment; and a beamformer filter configured to. The hearing assistive device further comprises an attachment element configured to fix the hearing assistive device to the body or clothes of a person. The multi-microphone system is configurable to operate in at least two modes in dependence of a mode control signal, A) a directional mode and B) an omni-directional mode wherein said multi-microphone system is configured to provide said processed input signal as a substantially directional signal, and as a substantially omni-directional signal, respectively. The attachment element is configured to provide an electric signal indicative of a current state of the attachment element. The hearing assistive device further comprises a mode controller for providing said mode control signal in dependence of said electric signal indicative of a current state of the attachment element.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEARING AID AND HEARING AID
A method operates a hearing aid having a housing insertable into an outer auditory canal and has proximal and distal sides. The proximal side is oriented toward an eardrum and includes a proximal input transducer, and a distal input transducer is disposed on the distal side. An output transducer is disposed on the proximal side and an adjustable vent penetrates the housing. An evaluation unit is provided, and an adjustment process is carried out to adjust the vent. In the course of the adjustment process, a set of transmission functions is determined by the evaluation unit, and includes a distal transmission function, which maps a signal path from the output transducer to the distal input transducer, and a proximal transmission function, which maps a signal path from the output transducer to the proximal input transducer.
Acoustic ears method and devices
The embodiments disclose a method including fabricating a left acoustic ear and a right side acoustic ear for assisting a user in hearing, molding a concave form configured for a structure of the acoustic ear and mirrored for the left side acoustic ear and right side acoustic ear structures, wherein the concave structure is configured for channeling incoming sounds to the user's ear, molding an ear mounting grip mirrored for coupling to each of the left and right side acoustic ear structures for hooking the acoustic ear to a user's ear, and wherein the ear mounting grip is configured for orienting the concave structure to a front direction corresponding to the user's face.
