Training and rehabilitation device
A device for training and rehabilitation of a limb is provided. The device provides a board with a plurality of movement tracks to allow for controlled movement of the limb in various directions. Blockers and other controlling structures may be arranged on the device to limit range of motion of the movement of the limb.
Breathable heavyweight garments for physical conditioning
In some embodiments, a heavyweight jacket includes a main body configured to fit on the torso of a wearer and sleeves that are fully detached from the main body. The sleeves advantageously facilitate putting on the heavy jacket, while providing a jacket of high weight. To form the heavyweight jacket, a pre-bonded fabric may be used. The fabric is pre-bonded and may optionally be further layered to increase the garment's weight without sacrificing flexibility or breathability. The layered fabric distributes the garment's weight evenly and ensures that the garment does not excessively restrict a wearer's freedom of movement or cause the wearer to overheat. The weight of the fabric may be increased by using a heavyweight glue to bond various layers of material together.
Active Shoulder Rotator
The disclosure relates to an active shoulder rotator comprising a base and a support plate. A support assembly attaches the support plate to the base. A track extends into a bottom of the support plate. A roller body assembly including slidable Teflon-based objects is coupled to, or within, one or more tracks. A strap is coupled to the roller body assembly and is configured for securing to a hand of a user such that movement of the roller body assembly via the roller body within a track facilitates movement of the shoulder and upper arm of the user.
Low friction rehabilitation board with an integral band retaining feature and methods of rehabilitation
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
RESISTANCE TRAINING DEVICE
A resistance training device is disclosed, comprising at least one resistance element extending between a tensioning element and at least one arm component. The tensioning element is positioned on the dorsal side of the user and a pivot is provided near the elbow joint of the user to permit articulation of the arm component. A plurality of attachments comprise a first side and a second side to anchor the resistance element to the arm component to impart resistance to the user during movement.
Cable exercise machine
A cable exercise machine may include a first vertical guide, a first pull cable routed through a first pulley, a second vertical guide, a second pull cable routed through a second pulley, and an electronic control panel. The first pulley may be movable along a length of the first vertical guide, and the second pulley may be movable along a length of the second vertical guide. The electronic control panel may be configured to: electronically allow for one or more levels of resistance to a user pulling on the first pull cable and/or the second pull cable, electronically allow for adjustment of the level of resistance to the user pulling on the first pull cable and/or the second pull cable, and electronically present the adjusted level of resistance to the user.
ORTHOPEDIC SHOULDER BRACE
An orthopedic brace for supporting a shoulder and an arm of a patient can comprise a sleeve, a pad, a pillow, and a system of adjustable straps for positioning and securing the sleeve in a desired position for treatment. The pad can comprise a plurality of pockets for accepting hot or cold compresses therein for providing thermal therapy, and can be removable from the brace to be used in isolation along other parts of the body. The adjustable straps can be replaced with tensile straps, and the sleeve can be positioned along different points of the patient's body to allow the patient to conduct various patient driven exercises, including patient driven range of motion or strengthening exercises.
DYNAMIC PROPRIOCEPTION
A wearable device such as a garment is disclosed, having at least one sensor, for sensing a parameter. Electronics are provided for processing the sensed parameter, and for providing feedback. Feedback may be in the form of proprioceptive tactile or audible feedback, or in the form of an adjustment of a performance parameter of the wearable device. In one implementation, the processor is configured to activate an effector to provide feedback to the wearer to make a body position correction to bring the position into alignment with predetermined body position reference data.
REHABILITATION TRAINING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus. The rehabilitation training apparatus includes a pair of first tracks formed parallel to each other along first axis, a second track disposed on the pair of first tracks, and moving along the first axis, and formed along second axis, a hand holder disposed on the second track, and moving along the second track, and on which at least one of hand and arm of a user is held, a stopper for a track disposed on the pair of first tracks for limiting a movement range of the second track, and a stopper for a holder disposed on the second track for limiting a movement range of the second pair of first tracks, wherein the first axis and the second axis are disposed with an inclination.
