IN-EAR WEARABLE DEVICE AND PANEL ASSEMBLY THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to an in-ear wearable device and a panel assembly thereof. The panel assembly of the in-ear wearable device includes a panel, a mainboard, a manipulation device, a charging device, a battery, an antenna device, a sound pickup device, a speaker assembly, and a wireless communication module. In a plane perpendicular to the panel or the manipulation device, an orthographic projection of the manipulation device partially overlaps an orthographic projection of the charging device; in a plane where the panel or the manipulation device is located, minimum circumscribed circles of the orthographic projections of the manipulation device and the charging device at least partially overlap each other.

Embodiments of the invention include a method of preventing ferrite migration in a hearing aid including an antenna stack and a battery stack wherein the antenna stack sits on the battery stack, the method comprising the steps of: conformally coating the top and sides of the antenna stack using a conformal coating material; and separately coating all the surfaces of the battery stack using a separate material.

A hearing aid for placement in an ear canal of a user, includes: a shell; a faceplate comprising an upper face, and a lower face, and a circumference, the upper face being exposed when the shell is placed in an ear of the user; a coil arranged at the faceplate; and a button arrangement comprising a plunger configured to control an integrated circuit arranged below the coil, the coil comprising one or more windings, the one or more windings being circumferential of an inner cavity of the coil with respect to a center or longitudinal axis of the coil, the button arrangement being configured such that the plunger in at least one position extends through the inner cavity of the coil for engaging the integrated circuit.
Charger and Charging System for Hearing Devices
A charger and a charging system for charging one or more hearing devices are provided, wherein the charger comprises a charging bay configured to receive the one or more hearing devices for charging and/or storage, one or more microphones and a radio transceiver configured for wireless communication with the one or more hearing devices, wherein the charger is configured to either work in a charging mode charging the one or more hearing devices or in a table microphone mode forwarding audio data picked up by the one or more microphones to the one or more hearing devices by the radio transceiver if at least one table microphone mode condition is met including that the one or more hearing devices are outside the charging bay.
Ear-mountable listening device with magnetic connector
An ear-mountable listening device includes an acoustic package and an electronics package. The acoustic package is configured to emit audio in response to an audio signal. The acoustic package includes a first set of magnets arranged annularly about a central axis of the ear-mountable listening device. The electronics package is electrically coupled to the acoustic package when the ear-mountable listening device is worn to provide the audio signal to the acoustic package. The electronics package includes a second set of magnets arranged annularly about the central axis proximate to a proximal end of the electronics package to removably affix the electronics package to the acoustic package via magnetic forces between the first set of magnets and the second set of magnets.
Water immune user-actuatable touch control for an ear-worn electronic device
An ear-worn electronic device comprises a housing configured to be worn in, at or about an ear of a wearer, electronic circuitry disposed in or supported by the housing, a controller disposed in the housing and coupled to the electronic circuitry, and a rechargeable power source and charging circuitry respectively disposed in the housing. The charging circuitry is coupled to the controller and comprises first and second charge contacts situated at a wall of the housing. A user-actuatable control is operatively coupled to the controller and comprises a touch sensor coupled to the first and second charge contacts. The touch sensor comprises a threshold detector configured to distinguish between skin contact with the first and second charge contacts and contact between a conductive material more conductive than skin and the first and second charge contacts.

A cochlear implant system includes: an electrode array implanted within a cochlea; an internal processor in communication with the electrode array; an implanted antenna which is electrically coupled to the internal processor; and a modular external headpiece which is removably positioned over the implanted antenna, the modular external headpiece including a core containing a sound processor for processing sound and providing a corresponding signal to the implanted antenna; and a modular component configured to releasably engage the core and supply electrical power to the core. A modular speech processor headpiece includes a core comprising a microphone and sound processor for producing a signal representing ambient sound to be transmitted to a cochlear implant, the core further comprising a number of electrical contacts; and a modular component containing a number of electrical contacts corresponding to the electrical contacts of the core; wherein the core is configured to engage with the modular component such that electrical communication is made between the core and the modular component.
