Eartip including hybrid structure
Provided is an eartip which stably fixes a position of an earphone and includes a body part that has a hollow cylinder structure corresponding to an outer circumferential surface of the earphone, having a binding groove recessed to a predetermined depth in an annular structure along an inner circumferential surface of the body part, and being made of a first material, an upper end connection part that is formed in an integrated structure with an upper end of the body part, and a lower end formation part that is formed in an integrated structure from a lower end of the umbrella structure formation part, has a hollow cylinder structure extending downward to a predetermined height while surrounding the outer circumferential surface of the body part and spaced a predetermined distance from the outer circumferential surface of the body part.
Hearing aid
A hearing aid comprises a microphone on a proximal side of a device housing and a loudspeaker which via a transmission channel is in open communication with a sound-emitting opening of the device. A sound processing device serves to generate sound received by the microphone to the loudspeaker in amplified form. The device housing is provided on a distal side with an optionally sealed battery chamber for receiving a battery therein. The transmission channel is at least almost wholly separated from the microphone acoustically in order to prevent acoustic feedback. The battery chamber comprises ventilation means for the purpose of increasing the lifespan of the battery.
STANDARD ATTACHMENT FOR A STANDARD EARPIECE AND STANDARD EARPIECE
A standard attachment for a standard earpiece insertable into an ear canal in a direction of insertion, by which, compared to customary attachments, an improved adaptation of the corresponding standard earpiece to an ear canal is achieved, and therefore improved audio perception, and also improved wearing comfort of the respective hearing aid is ensured. The standard attachment contains a headpiece at one end and, adjoining the latter, a wing portion. The outer contour of the headpiece is configured to allow the headpiece to bear on the wall of the ear canal at several points or on several lines.
In-Ear Utility Device Having Sensors
An embodiment of the invention provides a wireless in-ear utility device that rests in the user's ear canal near the user's eardrum. The in-ear utility device may be configured in a variety of ways, including, but in no way limited to a smart in-ear utility device, a flexible personal sound amplification product, a personal music player, a “walkie-talkie” and the like.
Hearing device seal modules, modular hearing devices including the same and associated methods
A hearing device seal module in accordance with at least one of the present inventions includes a tubular seal carrier defining a lumen configured to receive a hearing device core and including a connector region and a resilient seal support region formed from resilient material, a seal carrier support connected to the seal carrier connector region of the tubular seal carrier, including a support tube defining a longitudinal axis and a lumen configured to permit movement of the hearing device core and a tool along the longitudinal axis, and having an open state and a closed state.
Ear Tips and Related Devices and Methods
An ear tip includes a body configured to be mounted onto an earbud. The body includes a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a first wall extending between the first and second ends. The first wall defines and surrounds a hollow passage that is configured to conduct sound waves. The first wall is configured to engage a nozzle on the earbud. The first wall includes a ring that is formed of a rigid material and engages the nozzle. The ring includes at least one C-shaped member with at least one gap and a compliant material is molded around the ring and fills the gap.
Impression procedure
Improved methods are described for the creation of impressions for use in the manufacture of hearing aid components. In addition methods for manufacturing components of hearing aid systems using improved ear canal impressions are described.
Completely-in-canal hearing aid
A completely-in-canal hearing aid, including a housing, a receiver, a chip, a battery, a flexible circuit board and a microphone, wherein the housing includes a front section and a rear section; the receiver and the chip are located in the front section; the battery is located in the rear section; the rear section has two opposite surfaces and two opposite side surfaces; the front section has a first central axis parallel to the length of the front section; the rear section has a second central axis located between the two opposite surfaces and between the two opposite side surfaces; the first central axis and the second central axis are different straight lines. The completely-in-canal hearing aid is fine and compact in structure, reasonable and ingenious in design, diversified in function and comfortable to wear.
Ear-canal earpiece
An ear-canal earpiece having an electroacoustic sound transducer, a sound guide unit having a first and a second end for guiding the sound from the electroacoustic sound transducer to an ear of a user and at least one portion. The ear canal earpiece has a canal having a first end open towards the ear canal and a second outwardly open end. A diaphragm is provided in the canal and extends over the entire cross-section of the canal.
IMPRESSION-TAKING PAD AND A METHOD FOR TAKING AN IMPRESSION OF AN EAR CANAL
This invention relates to an impression-taking pad (10) for taking an impression (20) of an ear canal (30) by an impression-taking material, having a lateral end (el) to be arranged away from a tympanic membrane (35) in said ear canal (30); and a medial end (em) to be arranged proximate to said tympanic membrane (35). The impression-taking pad (10) comprises an outer body (2) tapering from said lateral end (el) to said medial end (em). The impression-taking pad (10) further comprises an inner body (3) for releasable engagement with a tool (11, 12) for visual inspection of the ear canal (30), the inner body (3) being configured to support insertion of the impression-taking pad (10) in the ear canal (30) by the tool (11, 12). The impression-taking pad (10) comprises a duct (5) at least partially defmed by the inner body (3), forming at least part of an optical path for visual inspection of the ear canal (30); wherein the optical path further comprises an inspection window (6), closing said duct (5), configured to support inspection of the ear canal (30) during the insertion of the impression-taking pad (10) in the ear canal (30); The impression-taking pad (10) is further configured to form an integral part of said impression (20). The present invention also relates to a method of taking an impression by the above defmed impression-taking pad (10); as well as to a correlated impression-taking system comprising an aptly modified tool (11, 12) to cooperate with such an impression-taking pad (10).
