Directional Microphone System
A directional microphone system includes a microphone assembly designed to be mounted from a ceiling or other raised surface through a reeling mechanism used to deploy the microphone assembly to a lowered position, preferably just above eye level of a speaker. The microphone assembly includes an outer housing encapsulating multiple audio detection elements or capsules which are specifically angled relative to each other and the horizontal in order to optimize targeted audio reception. With a preferred arrangement, three audio detection (microphone) elements are secured through with a wishbone frame mounted in the outer housing, with each element being at about a 60° angle to the horizontal to provide enhanced horizontal coverage.
ARRAY FRAME ADAPTER
An array frame adapter for positioning flying speaker arrays in sound rigs enables a user to expediently create a desired tilt angle of an entire speaker array by singlehanded action applied to rotate a threaded drive member. The threaded drive member is operationally coupled to a lever arm which is caused to pivot as the threaded drive member is rotated. The lever arm is caused to travel incrementally between a first position and a second position within an arcuate track to produce a maximum tilt angle of the suspended array.
PANEL COMBINATION, PHONE BOOTH, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING OUTPUT OF DIRECTIONAL SPEAKER
A panel combination includes a panel, a directional speaker mounted to the panel, and a controller that receives a trigger signal and controls an output of the directional speaker according to the trigger signal.
Speaker unit
Disclosed is a speaker unit which includes a provisionally fastening mechanism provided on a side surface of a cabinet section for provisionally fastening the speaker unit to a mounting part with at least a portion of the cabinet section inserted in an opening section of the mounting part from a face side of the mounting part. The provisionally fastening mechanism includes an engagement section for provisionally fastening the speaker unit to the mounting part, and a retention section for retaining the engagement section. The engagement section is movable between an engagement position in which the engagement section engages with the mounting part and a cancellation position in which the engagement section cancels the engagement with the mounting part by being moved away from the mounting part, and the retention section retains the engagement section in the cancellation position.
Speaker mounting
Provided is a speaker mounting comprising a) a disc with a central opening and a solid portion around the central opening; b) at least one retainer opening on the solid portion of the disc; c) a retainer attached to the solid portion on one side of the disc around the retainer opening; d) at least one fastener opening for attaching the speaker to a support structure; wherein the speaker is attached to the speaker mounting by having a fastener that is attached to the speaker be secured by the retainer.
SOUND SYSTEM
A sound system, for a user using a seat of an aircraft, an automobile, or the like, that reproduces sound inaudible to users around, without using earphones or headphones, is provided. A sound system for a user using a seat of an aircraft includes: a reproduction apparatus including an n-th reproduction unit (n = 1, ..., N) that outputs a (2n - 1)-th sound signal that is a sound signal obtained based on a subject to be reproduced, and a 2n-th sound signal that is a sound signal with opposite phase to phase of the (2n - 1)-th sound signal, N being an integer equal to or larger than one; and a speaker system including an n-th speaker unit pair (n = 1, ..., N) including a speaker unit that emits sound based on the (2n - 1)-th sound signal (hereinafter, referred to as the positive speaker unit) and a speaker unit that emits sound based on the 2n-th sound signal (hereinafter, referred to as the negative speaker unit), the speaker system being installed at a place close to a head of the user using the seat.
Audio device mount assembly
Example embodiments provide a device that includes a housing backplate affixed to a housing which embodies one or more of a speaker and a microphone, a threaded channel affixed to the housing and extending perpendicular from the housing backplate, and a wall mount fitting with one or more securing tabs to hold the wall mount fitting to a wall mount plate.
Microphone array system
A microphone array system or microphone array unit for a conference system is provided that includes a front board, side walls and a plurality of microphone capsules arranged in or on the front board mountable on or in a ceiling of a conference room. The microphone array system or unit is adapted for generating a steerable beam within a maximum detection angle range. The microphone array system or microphone array unit includes a processing unit which is configured to receive the output signals of the microphone capsules and to steer the beam based on the received output signal of the microphone array. The processing unit is configured to control the microphone array to limit the detection angle range to exclude at least one predetermined exclusion sector in which a noise source is located.
Audio device mount assembly
Example embodiments provide a device that includes a support plate having a flat base portion and an elongated portion which extends perpendicular to the flat base portion, and a housing embodying one or more of a microphone and a speaker, and a housing backside having a set of screw holes configured to receive a set of screws to secure the support plate flat base portion to be flush mounted against the housing.
Attachment member and vehicle
An attachment member is configured to support an electric component to which a harness is connected, and be attached to a wall portion of a vehicle interior. The member includes a base portion to which the electric component is fixed, a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion each standing on the base portion and configured to engage with the wall portion. Each of the first and second engaging portions includes a proximal-side end portion on a side of the base portion, and a distal end-side end portion opposite to the proximal-side end portion. The first and second engaging portions are arranged so as to sandwich a harness connecting portion of the electric component. The attachment member further includes a coupling portion configured to couple the distal end-side end portions of the first and second engaging portions.
