Bluetooth audio device, Bluetooth audio system and operating method thereof
There is provided a Bluetooth audio system including a gateway, a primary device and at least one slave device. The gateway and the primary device communicate Bluetooth packets therebetween based on the standard Bluetooth communication protocol. The at least one slave device accomplishes synchronization with the primary device using a user-defined Bluetooth communication protocol so as to listen or snoop the Bluetooth packets exchanged between the gateway and the primary device.
WIRELESS HEADSET WITH IMPROVED WIND NOISE RESISTANCE
An earphone device and system for improving wind resistance protection as well as controllability of true wireless stereo (TWS) headsets are provided. The earphone device includes headset microphones in a housing facing outwards and configured to generate a microphone signal. The earphone device includes a control dial rotatably attached to the housing through a pivot. The dial is substantially flat and arranged to form a narrow gap between the housing and the dial. The dial is further arranged to cover each microphone, thereby providing wind and dirt protection but leaving a gap for the sound waves to reach the microphones.
HEADSET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a headset communication system. The headset communication system comprises: a bone conduction headset, comprising a first Bluetooth module; an intercom device, comprising a first external interface; an external communication module, comprising a second external interface and a second Bluetooth module. The external communication module is detachably provided in the intercom device and being coupled to the intercom device by means of the first external interface and the second external interface, and the bone conduction headset and the intercom device perform Bluetooth pairing by means of the first Bluetooth module and the second Bluetooth module so as to establish a Bluetooth connection.
Hearing aid system for estimating acoustic transfer functions
A hearing aid system comprises a hearing aid, and a portable auxiliary device' adapted to establish a communication link between them. The hearing aid comprises a microphone providing an electric input signal, a signal processor, and an output unit. The auxiliary device comprises a microphone providing an auxiliary electric input signal, and a user control interface allowing a user to initiate a specific calibration mode of operation of the hearing aid system. The signal processor of the hearing aid is configured to receive corresponding time segments of said electric input signal and said auxiliary electric input signal to provide an estimate of an acoustic transfer function from said microphone of said auxiliary device to said microphone of said hearing aid. A method of operating a hearing aid system is further disclosed. The invention may e.g. be used in various applications related to own voice detection and estimation.
ACOUSTIC DEVICES
This present disclosure provides an acoustic device. The acoustic device includes a housing, one or more sound pickup assemblies, and one or more channel assemblies. The housing has an accommodating space and one or more communication holes. Each communication hole communicates the accommodating space and an outside space. The one or more sound pickup assemblies may be disposed in the accommodating space for picking up a sound through the communication holes. The one or more channel assemblies may be disposed in the accommodating space. At least one of the one or more channel assemblies is disposed between one sound pickup assembly of the one or more pickup assemblies and one communication hole of the one or more communication holes, so that the sound is transmitted to the sound pickup assembly through the at least one of the one or more channel assemblies after passing through the communication hole.
TWO-WAY RADIO DEVICE FOR HEARING PROTECTION DEVICES
A two-way radio device for hearing protection devices provides communication capabilities to users wearing hearing protection devices, which would ordinarily hinder or block communication. The two-way radio device removably attaches to a portion of a hearing protection device and connects to the speakers thereof. One or more wireless transceivers provide wireless transmission of audio between users of hearing protection devices enhanced with the two-way radio device. Users remain protected by their hearing protection devices and while communicating freely in high decibel environments.
ACOUSTIC OUTPUT APPARATUSES
The present disclosure provides an acoustic output apparatus. The acoustic output apparatus includes a speaker assembly, configured to convert an audio signal into a sound signal; an ear hook assembly, including an ear hook housing and a connecting part, the ear hook housing having an accommodating space to accommodate a battery assembly and/or a control circuit assembly, one end of the connecting part connecting to the speaker assembly, and the other end of the connecting part connecting to the ear hook housing, wherein the connecting part includes at least one first wire clamping part used to restrict a set of lead wires drawn out from the speaker assembly and extending into the accommodating space, the set of lead wires electrically connect the speaker assembly to the battery assembly and/or the control circuit.
WEARABLE HEARING ASSIST DEVICE WITH ARTIFACT REMEDIATION
Various implementations include systems for processing audio signals to remove artifacts introduced by a machine learning system in challenging environments. In particular implementations, a method includes generating a processed audio signal for a hearing assistance device in which the processed audio signal is intended to perceptually dominate a user auditory experience, including: processing an unprocessed audio signal received by the hearing assistance device, wherein the processing includes utilizing a machine learning (ML) system to generate an ML enhanced audio signal; determining a mixing coefficient from an environmental noise assessment; mixing the ML enhanced audio signal with the unprocessed audio signal using the mixing coefficient to generate the processed audio signal; and outputting the processed audio signal.
Earjack connection apparatus for earphone antenna, and electronic device comprising same
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an earjack connection apparatus for an earphone antenna, and an electronic device comprising the same. To this end, the electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: an earjack including a plurality of earjack electrodes; and a circuit board including a plurality of substrate electrodes and a plurality of substrate lines electrically connected to the plurality of substrate electrodes, wherein first and second substrate lines among the plurality of substrate lines can be configured to be electrically connected to a first substrate electrode among the plurality of substrate electrodes. Other embodiments are also possible.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ACOUSTIC ECHO CANCELLATION WITH OCCLUDED VOICE SENSOR
An apparatus and method for auto echo cancellation utilizing an occluded voice sensor. The technology as disclosed and claimed herein and the various implementations and embodiments improves Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) system performance by increasing cancellation quality and speech SNR by the replacement of the lower frequency portion of the microphone signal with the signal of an Occluded Voice Sensor (OVS) signal and never including the spectral band in the transmission. This frequency band replacement excludes the reinjection of that band from the speaker.
