Sound inspection method and inspection apparatus for display device including sound generator
A sound inspection method of a display device and a sound inspection device including preparing a display device including a display panel and a sound generator disposed on a first surface of the display panel, placing a vibration sensor on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the display panel, vibrating the sound generator at a first reference frequency, vibrating the display panel, and then sensing a vibration of the vibration sensor that vibrates along with a vibration of the display panel; and determining whether a frequency of the vibration of the vibration sensor is included in a first threshold frequency region.
Moving an emoji to move a location of binaural sound
During an electronic communication between a first user and a second user, an electronic device of the second user displays a graphical representation at a located selected by the first user. The graphical representation provides an indication to the second user where binaural sound associated with the graphical representation will externally localize to the second user. Subsequent movement of the graphical representation changes a location where the binaural sound externally localizes to the second user.
Drain Mechanism for Camera Controller
A camera controller is configured to control a camera through voice commands. The camera controller includes drain mechanisms that allow the camera controller to be used in environments in which the camera controller is exposed to fluids. The camera controller device comprises a housing body with an outer surface including a first opening and a second opening. A first channel extends from the first opening into the housing body and to a cavity in which a microphone is located, enabling audio signals entering the first opening to be captured by the microphone. A membrane is located between the first channel and the microphone to create a waterproof seal over the microphone. A second channel extends from the first channel to the second opening to create a drain such that fluid entering from the first opening can flow from the first channel through the second channel and out the second opening.
Privacy device for smart speakers
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for a privacy blocking device configured to prevent receipt, by a listening device, of video and/or audio data until a trigger occurs. A blocker may be configured to prevent receipt of video and/or audio data by one or more microphones and/or one or more cameras of a listening device. The blocker may use the one or more microphones, the one or more cameras, and/or one or more second microphones and/or one or more second cameras to monitor for a trigger. The blocker may process the data. Upon detecting the trigger, the blocker may transmit data to the listening device. For example, the blocker may transmit all or a part of a spoken phrase to the listening device.
RF immune microphone
The present disclosure relates to microphone devices. One microphone assembly includes a transducer and a housing. The microphone assembly includes an integrated circuit coupled to the transducer. The housing includes a port, a base, and a cover. The cover includes an inner wall and an outer wall. The inner wall and outer wall can be coupled to the base. The inner wall and the base are mechanically coupled and define an enclosed volume. The transducer is disposed in the enclosed volume.
Binaural Sound in Visual Entertainment Media
A method provides binaural sound to a listener while the listener watches a movie so sounds from the movie localize to a location of a character in the movie. Sound is convolved with head related transfer functions (HRTFs) of the listener, and the convolved sound is provided to the listener who wears a wearable electronic device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING AIR ADSORPTION MEMBER AND SPEAKER MODULE
In various embodiments, an electronic device includes: a diaphragm, a speaker module including a speaker configured to output a sound through a vibration of the diaphragm, and a housing accommodating the diaphragm and the speaker module therein and including a first space provided in a first direction from the speaker module and a second space provided in a second direction opposite the first direction. The electronic device further includes an air adsorption member comprising an air adsorbing material disposed in the first space and having a volume ratio of 90% or less of the first space, the air adsorption member configured to reduce air resistance to the diaphragm disposed above the speaker module without limiting the vibration of the diaphragm.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes: a display module, a middle frame, a sounder, a first structural member, a first circuit board, and a rear cover, where the middle frame is provided with an accommodation groove, and the display module is disposed in the accommodation groove; a side of the middle frame away from the display module is provided with a mounting groove, and the sounder is at least partially disposed in the mounting groove; the first structural member and the rear cover are disposed at the side of the middle frame away from the display module, a first gap is present between the first structural member and the rear cover, and the first structural member and the middle frame enclose a first sound chamber of the sounder, or the first structural member and the first circuit board enclose a first sound chamber of the sounder.
VOICE COIL ACTUATOR AND LOUDSPEAKERS CONTAINING SAME
Voice coil actuators and loudspeakers containing same. The voice coil actuators include moving voice coil assemblies that have multiple segments. Each segment of a moving voice coil assembly is separately controlled by an amplifier, one channel of an amplifier, and combinations thereof utilized in combination with a position sensor that senses the position of the moving voice coil assembly. By this arrangement, the voice coil actuators produce a linear force per unit current throughout the range of motion while obtaining the benefits and advantages associated with both over-hung and under-hung voice coil actuator designs.
A METHOD FOR AUDIO RENDERING BY AN APPARATUS
A method for audio rendering by an apparatus comprising at least one audio rendering device, the method comprising: extracting (S10) a plurality of frequency band components from an input audio signal; determining (S15) from the device frequency response and the plurality of extracted frequency band components at least one indicator representative of masking frequencies energy, masking frequencies corresponding to frequency bands that are above a frequency threshold; determining at least one correction factor (S16) from the indicator representative of masking frequencies energy; e) for each frequency band, determining a second acoustic level threshold (S20) by modifying (S17) with the correction factor a predetermined first acoustic level threshold associated with said frequency band, and determining a reduction gain from a comparison (S30) between an acoustic level of the extracted frequency band and the second acoustic level threshold associated to said extracted frequency band, and applying (S40) the reduction gain.
