ACOUSTIC RESONATORS FOR MICROPHONES
Aspects of the subject technology relate to electronic devices having microphones. An electronic device may include a microphone and a resonator for the microphone. The resonator may be formed in a device structure that is spatially separated from the microphone. The resonator may be formed in an interior wall of a housing of the electronic device, or in a support structure within an enclosure of the electronic device. A resonator and/or one or more damping features, may reduce a resonance effect, on the microphone, of a resonant cavity within the enclosure of the electronic device and adjacent the microphone.
PROJECTOR
A projector includes an outer housing, a single inner housing housed in the outer housing and including a first container and a second container, the second container housing a functional element, and a loudspeaker housed in the first container and including a frame, and the first container has a wall section extending along the frame.
Display assistant device having a monitoring mode and an assistant mode
A display assistant device comprises a display, a camera, a speaker, microphones, a processor and memory. The memory stores programs comprising instructions that, when executed by the processor, enable a plurality of modes of the display assistant device. The modes include a monitoring mode and an assistant mode. In the monitoring mode, the device is configured to perform a remote monitoring function in which first video captured by the camera is streamed to a remote server system for monitoring uses. The monitoring uses include transmission of the first video to remote client devices authorized to access the first video. In the assistant mode, the device is configured to perform a second plurality of functions that excludes the monitoring function and includes a video communication function in which second video captured by the camera is transmitted to second devices participating in a video communication with a first user of the device.
PANEL SPEAKER
A panel speaker includes: a first panel; a second panel; a vibration actuator configured to vibrate the first panel and the second panel; an adhesive layer configured to adhere one surface of the first panel to one surface of the second panel; and a coupling portion configured to couple other surface of the second panel with the vibration actuator, the adhesive layer includes a plurality of strip-shaped regions parallel to one direction in a plan view of the second panel, and the coupling portion is disposed at a region sandwiched between adjacent two of the plurality of strip-shaped regions in the plan view of the second panel.
DISPLAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for obtaining content for display to a user of a head-mountable display device, HMD, the system comprising one or more audio detection units operable to capture audio in the environment of the user, a motion prediction unit operable to predict motion of the HMD in dependence upon the captured audio, and a content obtaining unit operable to obtain content for display in dependence upon the predicted motion of the HMD.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AUDIO SIGNAL
An electronic device and method for generating an audio signal is provided. According to various example embodiments, an electronic device may include a display configured to depict visual information to the outside of the electronic device. The electronic device further includes an actuator to cause the display to vibrate. A processor is electrically connected to the actuator and the display. The processor applies a pilot signal to the actuator, and detects an amount of vibration of the display caused by applying the pilot signal. The processor sets an environment of the audio signal based on the amount of vibration of the display.
PERSONAL CINEMA METHOD AND SYSTEMS
A digital video system at a cinema includes a plurality of personal cinema experience area seats each with a display screen for viewing at least one of a programs playing the cinema or steamtable to the cinema. Each seat is positioned at a selected area of the cinema. One or more speakers are provided at each seat. A DCI compliant cinema player is provided for each seat of the plurality of personal cinema experience area seat.
Restoring a disabled display device speaker
A display device has a processor and a memory connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to make a first determination that an internal display device speaker is disabled. A second determination that an external sound system is unavailable is established. A prompt is provided in response to the first determination and the second determination. The prompt includes an option to enable the internal display device speaker.
LOUDSPEAKER AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
This application relate to the field of electronic device technologies, and in particular, to a loudspeaker and an electronic device. Embodiments of this application are provided to resolve a technical problem of insufficient sensitivity of a loudspeaker caused by a small electromagnetic driving force that drives a voice coil to vibrate. According to a loudspeaker and an electronic device in embodiments of this application, a yoke includes a bottom part and a sleeve located on the side of the bottom part. An annular magnet is sleeved on the outer side of the sleeve. A voice coil is sleeved on the sleeve and located between the magnet and the sleeve. A damper is located in a region enclosed by the sleeve. An outer edge of the damper is connected to the voice coil, and a middle part of the damper is connected to the yoke.
ROLLABLE ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER AND ROLLABLE IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
An object of the present invention is to provide an electroacoustic transducer and an image display device, each of which can be rolled up and does not need a mechanical mechanism and a driving source. The object is accomplished by providing a vibration plate or display element which can be rolled up, and a convex leaf spring having an arc-shaped cross section in the lateral direction and having a concave side disposed facing one surface of the vibration plate or a non-image-displaying surface of the display element.
