OBJECT TRACKING SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION AND TOOLS
A method optimizes an object tracking system that uses receivers to receive beacon signals, or pings, from tracking tags that are attached to objects. An optimizer receives locations of the tracking tags and groups identifiers of the tracking tags into two or more sets. The first set identifies tracking tags that are attached to objects involved in a situation of interest. The optimizer determines a first receiver group based on the locations of tracking tags in the first set and the locations of the receivers. The optimizer determines a center of a smallest three-dimensional polygon bounding the locations of tracking tags in the first set. An antenna of each receiver in the first receiver group is then steered to point towards the center of the polygon while a number of receiver events per second generated by the receiver for tracking tags in the first set increases.
PROCEDURE ENABLING CONFIGURATION OF PC5 COMMUNICATION PARAMETERS FOR ADVANCED VEHICLE TO EVERYTHING (V2X) SERVICES
Methods and apparatuses are described herein for dynamic PC5 communication adaptation. For example, a UE may receive, from a vehicle-to-everything control function (V2X CF) or a vehicle-to-everything application server (V2X AS), a V2X provisioning message that includes a first transmission profile and determine, based on the first transmission profile, a first range to configure PC5 communication of a plurality of UEs associated with the V2X platoon. When a number of UEs joining the V2X platoon exceeds a certain threshold, the UE may transmit, to the V2X CF or the V2X AS, a modification request message requesting a second transmission profile. The UE may receive, from the V2X CF or the V2X AS, a modification response message that includes the second transmission profile and determine, based on the second transmission profile, a second range to reconfigure the PC5 communication of the plurality of UEs associated with the V2X platoon.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING CONGESTION CONTROL IN NR V2X
A method for performing wireless communication by a first apparatus and an apparatus for supporting same are provided. The method may comprise: measuring, in a first slot, a channel busy ratio (CBR) for a resource pool; determining power for physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission in a second slot, based on the CBR measured in the first slot; and performing, to a second device, the PSSCH transmission in the second slot based on the power, wherein the first slot is a slot before N slots from the second slot, wherein the N is determined based on subcarrier spacing (SCS) related to the PSSCH transmission, and wherein the N is a positive integer.
ASSEMBLING STUDENTS FOR A GROUP INTERACTION IN AN ONLINE ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT
Methods and systems for assembling remote students in an online academic environment are provided. The method includes a use of the system to filter a subpopulation from a population stored in a database, the population including students in the self-paced, online environment. The subpopulation can be selected to meet a first set of criteria for a grouping of students for a group interaction. Additional criteria can be added to provide control over the selection of students for the subpopulation and, thus, control over the design of groups to provide a desired group profile for the group interaction. The methods and systems provided can align and group students of the self-paced, online environment for a group interaction, as well as electronically proctor and otherwise monitor and control the interaction.

INTERSECTION TRAJECTORY DETERMINATION AND MESSAGING
Methods and systems for managing traversals of one or more vehicles through a traffic intersection are proposed. In one example, a method comprises: receiving a first message including one or more motion characteristics of one or more vehicles approaching the traffic intersection; forming a motion group; grouping a subset of the one or more vehicles into the motion group based on the one or more motion characteristics; assigning a leader vehicle for the motion group; determining a group maneuver target for the motion group to traverse through the traffic intersection; and transmitting, to the leader vehicle of the motion group, a second message including the group maneuver target for the motion group, to enable the leader vehicle of the motion group to control a motion of each member vehicle of the motion group based on the group maneuver target.
Method and system for enabling the creation and maintenance of proximity-related user groups
Techniques are described for providing location-based information and functionality to people and computing devices in various ways. In at least some situations, the techniques include enabling multiple people in a common geographic area to interact in various ways, such as via devices capable of communications (e.g., cellular telephones, computing devices with wired and/or wireless communications capabilities, etc.), while in other situations at least some users who are remote from a particular geographic area may be allowed to intercommunicate with one or more other users or other entities in or related to that geographic area. In addition, the techniques include enabling the creation and maintenance of location-based virtual groups of users (also referred to as “clouds”), such as for users of mobile and/or fixed-location devices. Such clouds may enable various types of interactions between group members, and may be temporary and/or mobile.

Techniques for enhancing group communication on a mobile device
Techniques for enhancing group communication on a device are described. A method may include presenting a message in a message portion of a user interface (UI) for a group communication application executing on a first device, where the group communication application communicates messages among multiple devices. The method may further include monitoring an input component for the first device and detecting a first control directive from the input component. The first control directive may select a message displayed in the message portion of the user interface. The method may further include performing a pin operation on the selected message; and presenting the pinned message in a banner portion of the UL Other embodiments are described and claimed.
