METHODS FOR PROVIDING A RESPONSE TO A COMMAND REQUESTING THE EXECUTION OF A PROACTIVE COMMAND
20180007492 · 2018-01-04 ·

A communication method includes receiving a first message of a Short Message Service containing a first command that requests execution of a proactive command. The first message is decrypted according to protocol SCP80 to extract the first command. The execution of the proactive command is requested in order to obtain a response to the proactive command. A second message of the Short Message Service is transmitted to the remote server and indicates that the response to the proactive command has been obtained. A third message of the Short Message Service is received and contains a second command from the remote server. The third message is decrypted according to the protocol SCP80. A response message is generated as a function of the response and encrypted according to the protocol SCP80 to generate a fourth message of the Short Message Service transmitted to the remote server.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a service processing method, a related apparatus, and a system. The method includes: UE adds a service type indication of a service initiated by the UE to an RRC connection request and sends the RRC connection request to a base station, and adds the service type indication of the service initiated by the UE to a non-access stratum NAS request and sends the NAS request to a mobility management network element. In this way, when a network side performs congestion control or overload control, the base station may determine, according to the service type indication, that the service initiated by the UE is a voice service, a video service, or a short message service, accept the RRC connection request. Similarly, the mobility management network element may accept, according to the service type indication, the NAS request.

A computer includes an SMS module that communicates with a management server apparatus via a network, a display that displays predetermined information, and a CPU that controls an operation of the display. When the SMS module receives a control command from the management server apparatus via the network, the CPU executes processing corresponding to the control command. Furthermore, the CPU transmits a notification signal including information, which indicates a state of execution of the control program, to the management server apparatus via the network.

Furthermore, the CPU displays, on the display, a state indicator including information which indicates a state of execution of the control program when the notification signal cannot be transmitted to the management server apparatus via the network.

IDENTIFICATION OF SOURCES OF MEDIA TRAFFIC THROUGH A NETWORK

A method for identifying one or more unauthorised routes used for the termination of application-to-person (A2P) short message service (SMS) messages to a mobile telecommunications network, and a system for use in performing the method. An application service is stimulated to generate an A2P SMS message, and to send it to a collection point. The message is processed to obtain an identifier identifying a source of the message, and it is determined whether the identifier corresponds to an authorised source of A2P traffic to the network.
