GEO-FENCE AUTHORIZATION PROVISIONING
A system includes a communication module that receives a request to post content to an event gallery associated with an event. The request in turn includes geo-location data for a device sending the content, and identification data identifying the device or a user of the device. The system further has an event gallery module to perform a first authorization operation that includes determining that the geo-location data corresponds to a geo-location fence associated with an event. The event gallery module also performs a second authorization operation that includes using the identification data to verify an attribute of the user. Finally, based on the first and second authorization operations, the event gallery module may selectively authorize the device to post the content to the event gallery.
Creating and utilizing map channels
A system and method for displaying portions of a social network. The method can include: receiving, from a client device, a first transmission including a first selection of a first channel including at least a portion of a map, where the first transmission includes a first identification of a selecting user account of the social network, and where the first channel is configured to access a first layer, and where the first layer includes a first set of social media posts; receiving, from the client device, a second transmission including a second selection of a second channel including at least a portion of a map, where the second transmission includes a second identification of the selecting user account of the social network, and where the second channel is configured to access a second layer, and where the second layer includes a second set of social media posts; applying, by a computer processor, a linking operation to link the first channel and the second channel to generate an aggregated channel configured to access the first layer and the second layer; receiving, from the client device, a request for the aggregated channel; and providing, in response to the request, the aggregated channel for display by the client device.
Mobile notifications based upon notification content
Disclosed are various embodiments employed to generate device notifications based upon notification content. To this end, a request to generate a device notification is obtained from a user application. Notification content is extracted from the request and an escalated or de-escalated notification level is applied when the content corresponds to a notification rule stored in the device.

Proposed is a method for retrieval of unrecalled AD which was missed by the viewer from fixing it in a specific APP by pushing an activation button on the mobile electronic device at the time of visual demonstration seen by the viewer. The method consists of the opening an owner's account on the Internet server linked with the APP; composing a listing of the sequential groups of the visual digital signals; activating the system within a certain time “t” after completion of a selected portion of the series of digital signals which includes the AD being sought, reproducing the listing of the sequential groups of visual digital signals on the mobile electronic communication device, selecting a group that corresponds to the unrecalled AD; and reproducing the selected group on the mobile electronic communication device for viewing the unrecalled AD.
Determination of general and topical news and geographical scope of news content
Methods for categorizing news are presented. One method groups articles into clusters that share a common topic. A first category is identified for each article that indicates if the article is news or not. Further, the method includes an operation for determining use data for each article that has information about people that have accessed or referenced the article. Additionally, the method includes an operation for combining the use data and the first category for all the articles in each cluster to determine the geographical scope of interest for the cluster. The use data and the first category are combined for all the articles in each cluster to determine a second category for each article that indicates if the article is general news, topical news, or not news. The articles are presented to the user based on the geographical scope of interest, the second category, and the attributes of the user.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IN A TIMED MANNER ENABLING A USER DEVICE ON THE MOVE TO UTILIZE DIGITAL CONTENT ASSOCIATED WITH ENTITIES AHEAD
The disclosure relates to a content selection system for enabling a user device on the move to utilize content associated with an entity located ahead of the user device. The content selection system determines a current position and travel direction of the user device, determines a current travel remainder for moving along a travel route from the current position to the entity located ahead of the user device, based on stored geographical location associated with the entity. The content selection system compares the travel remainder to a maximum threshold value associated with the entity. The content selection system enables content associated with the entity to be utilized by the user device, when the travel remainder is equal to or lower than the maximum threshold value. The disclosure also relates to a user device comprising at least a portion of the content selection system.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SELECTIVELY ENABLING A USER DEVICE ON THE MOVE TO UTILIZE DIGITAL CONTENT ASSOCIATED WITH ENTITIES AHEAD
The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a content selection system and a user device including at least a portion of the content selection system for selectively enabling a user device on the move to utilize digital content associated with one or more entities located ahead of the user device. The system determines a current position and travel direction of the user device and derives foresight conditions input including time availability indicating parameter(s). The system defines a geographical limiting zone extending in front of the user device, based on the position, travel direction, and a first time availability indicating parameter of the foresight conditions input. The system compares the limiting zone to a first stored geographical location of at least a first entity, and enables content associated with the first entity to be utilized by the user device, when the first location is within the limiting zone.
CONTENT SHARING RECOMMENDATIONS
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for providing content sharing recommendations are provided. For example, signals, associated with a user (e.g., a location of the user, an event occurring near the user, an activity being performed by the user, content of a message recently received by the user or being composed by the user, etc.), are evaluated to identify a context associated with the user (e.g., the user may be composing a social network post about a basketball game that the user is attending). The context is applied to content (e.g., photos, videos, documents, webpages, etc.), available to the user, to create contextualized content indicative of how appropriate or relevant such content is given the context (e.g., a basketball game photo may be more relevant than a work document). A content sharing recommendation of contextualized content may be provided to the user.
Social Network Based Advertisement
Systems and methods for advertisement using location-based open social networking circles. The circles are arranged for businesses respectively. After a user launches circle app at user device, icons of nearby business circles show up in app interface. The icons each display a circle name and a short ad message. A short ad message presented in app interface is created and controlled by a business directly and independently. In an aspect, a short ad message entered by a business in circle interface appears in app interface for public use in real time. In another aspect, contents arranged in circle interface by a business are collected and become searchable for users. In yet another aspect, circle app is arranged to check a designated file at a business or a business' website and update contents in circle interface automatically.
AUTONOMOUS COLLECTION OF MULTIMEDIA EVENTS FOR PRESENTATION
The disclosed technology is directed towards collecting data, including multimedia content, for creating a multimedia presentation associated with an event being experienced by a user. Location data of a user's mobile device can be used to determine availability of sensor(s) within a proximity of the mobile device, along with one or more multimedia sensor of the mobile device. The user can select a source group of the available sensors to obtain data from them, including multimedia content such as camera video and microphone audio feeds. The sensor data received from the selected sensor source group is used, optionally along with previously recorded multimedia content, to create and output the multimedia presentation associated with the event. The user can add annotations including user input and the previously recorded multimedia content for inclusion in the multimedia presentation.
