The method for displaying the service object includes: providing a filtering interface, wherein the filtering interface comprises a map display area and a dimension-divided display area, the dimension-divided display area displays at least one divided dimension and description information corresponding to a plurality of sub-dimensions, a map of a target city is displayed in the map display area, and the map of the target city displays regional scopes corresponding to the plurality of sub-dimensions; receiving information of a divided dimension and a sub-dimension selected by a user; and displaying a service object associated with the sub-dimension selected by the user according to an association relationship between the service object and the sub-dimension. The methods can provide more rich filtering information to a user.

A mobile device generates position data for a device, receives a first access point position reliability state associated with the first access point, determines a reliability of the position data based on the first access point position reliability state and an estimated location of the first access point, determines a threshold reliability requirement of an application associated with the mobile device, compares the reliability of the position data to the threshold reliability requirement of the application, and provides the position data of the device based on the comparison. A network entity determines access point characteristics associated with an access point, generates a position reliability state for the access point, sends the position reliability state to a mobile device, receives position data associated with the mobile device, and determines a trustworthiness of the position data.

The processor may also be operable to generate and send ballistic specimen data including images, video, GPS data and the like to the networked server, wherein the processor is operable to generate ballistic imaging metadata. Further, the processor may be operable to detect matching records of spent ballistics and generate a hit report thereby.

Police officers are provided with client devices capable of capturing multimedia and streaming multimedia. The client devices can upload captured multimedia to a central server or share streams in real time. A network operation center can review the multimedia in real time or afterwards. Situational awareness is the provision of multimedia to a police officer as that officer approaches the location of an incident. The multimedia may be real time streams as the officer responds to a particular location, or the multimedia may be historical files as the officer familiarizes himself with incidents as he patrols a new neighborhood. Since the client device also reports real time reporting patterns, police officers can review high resolution and fidelity patrolling and incident reports to analyze the efficacy of patrol coverage. Since the client device may run supplementary applications, example applications are disclosed.

Aspects of the disclosure provide control-plane signaling to support a user equipment (UE)-assisted local caching feature, where information content may be locally cached at or near a base station in a wireless communication network. The control plane signaling may include a system information broadcast (SIB) to advertise availability of the feature; a UE capability message that indicates UE support of the feature; and/or radio resource control (RRC) configuration signaling to configure the UE to utilize the feature. Further aspects describe operation and maintenance (OAM) configuration of a base station to utilize the feature. A base station may additionally check for UE eligibility to utilize the feature, e.g., based on the user's subscription. In further examples, various enhancements to the user-plane signaling to utilize the UE-assisted local caching feature are provided.
