Method of providing instant messaging service and multiple services expanded from instant messaging service
Provided is a method of providing an instant messaging service and multiple services expanded from the instant messaging service, the method including displaying a chat window for a chat room related to an instant messaging service, receiving a touch event input by a user on the chat window, selecting one service among a plurality of services expanded from the instant messaging service in response to the touch event, and displaying a window related to the selected service.
User terminal apparatus and method for communication using the same
A user terminal apparatus and a communication method using the same are provided. A user terminal apparatus includes an inputter configured to receive a request for an access to a second user terminal apparatus; a communicator configured to receive service information including at least one communication service provided in the second user terminal apparatus; a displayer configured to display the service information; and a controller configured to, when at least one of the service information is selected, access the second user terminal apparatus through a communication service corresponding to the selected service information.
Predictive forwarding of notification data
A computing system is described that receives notification data associated with a user, and responsive to determining that the user is interacting with a first computing device at a first particular time, outputs, for transmission to the first computing device, the notification data. The computing system determines that the user is interacting with a second computing device at a second particular time, and responsive to determining, based on the second particular time being less than a threshold amount of time after the first particular time, that the user did not view the notification data at the first computing device, outputs, for transmission to the second computing device, the notification data.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ALLOCATING IP ADDRESS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A method and apparatus allocates an IP address between terminals in a wireless communication network in which terminals directly communicate with each other in a wireless scheme without an AP. The method for allocating an Internet Protocol (IP) address of a wireless terminal capable of performing P2P communication, includes a discovery step of discovering at least one external terminal capable of performing the P2P communication and connecting with the at least one discovered external terminal by the wireless terminal; and a negotiation step of negotiating and determining with the external terminal which external terminals become a group owner and a group client in a P2P group, respectively by the wireless terminal. One of the discovery step and the negotiation step includes transmitting an IP address to be allocated to the group client to the external terminal from the wireless terminal.
Data processing using defined data definitions
A system, a method, and a computer program product for processing data using defined data definitions in communications systems. A communication link is established between a first device and a second device. At least one or more data packets are exchanged between the first device and the second device. The first device uses at least one first data definition to extract data from one or more payloads of the one or more data packets when the data packets are received from the second device. The second device uses at least one second data definition to extract data from one or more payloads of the one or more data packets when the data packets are received from the first device.

Collaborative data processing
A mobile device for electronic document collaboration is disclosed. The mobile device includes a display, a processor and a storage device. The mobile device presents a first message to prompt a first user to start recording on the mobile device in order to capture at least one of audio and video information on the mobile device. After the first user has completed the recording on the mobile device, the mobile device then presents a second message to prompt a second user to start recording on the mobile device to capture at least one of audio and video information on the mobile device. The processor determines whether or not the two recordings were performed within a predetermined time interval. If the two recordings were performed within a predetermined time interval, the processor merges the two recordings into one media document, and the media document is then stored within the storage device.
Paging for local IP access packets
Local IP access paging schemes facilitate paging of an access terminal when packets destined for the access terminal are received via local IP access. In some implementations, a local entity acquires information that enables local paging of the access terminal by sniffing messages passing through the local entity. In some implementations, a local entity sends a packet or message to cause the core network to page an access terminal when a local IP access packet destined for the access terminal arrives at the local entity.
Managing multiple mobile devices on different operator networks
Disclosed are techniques for managing mobile devices, such as cellphones, tablets, and laptops, deployed on different operator networks, such as cellular networks, permissioned Wi-Fi networks, LANs, and WANs. The techniques include receiving, at an interface module, a request identifying at least two mobile devices and at least two of a plurality of operator networks associated therewith. The request manages each device by changing a configuration of the device on each associated network. The techniques include selecting at least two of a plurality of adapter modules, each configured to communicate with one of the plurality of networks, based on the request. The techniques further include bridging, using the selected adapter modules, communication between the interface module and the associated networks, such as transmitting the request to and receiving a response from each network. The techniques also include aggregating the received responses and transmitting the aggregated responses to the interface module.

The techniques include receiving, at an interface module, a request identifying a mobile device and one of a plurality of operator networks associated with the device. The request manages the mobile device by initiating a change in a configuration state of the device on the associated operator network. The techniques further include selecting one of a plurality of adapter modules each configured to communicate with a particular one of the plurality of operator networks based on the request. The techniques also include bridging, using the selected adapter module, communication between the interface module and the operator network associated with the mobile device, such as transmitting the request to the network and subsequently receiving a response from the network.
