Systems and methods for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly
Systems and methods are described for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly using elements of a wireless node network of sensor-based ID nodes disposed within the container and a command node associated with the container. The method has the command node identifying which of the ID nodes are confirmed as trusted sensors based upon a security credential specific to each of the ID nodes; monitoring only the confirmed ID nodes for sensor data broadcast those ID nodes; detecting the anomaly based upon the sensor data from at least one of the confirmed ID nodes; automatically generating an alert notification related to the detected environmental anomaly for the shipping container; and transmitting the alert notification to the external transceiver to initiate a mediation response related to the detected environmental anomaly.

System having tracker data validation
Methods and apparatus for providing validation of data from the tracker devices. In embodiments, a method includes registering a tracker device with a device registry and issuing by an issuer the tracker device to a third party. Raw and signed data is collected from the tracker device is hashed and stored to enable later validation of the data.
Systems and methods for returning recovered physical items
A system and method for facilitating the recovery and return of lost physical items through a communication network, involving adhering a label having a unique identifier thereon to a physical item; storing a database record including the unique identifier and a user identification, the record further including the name of the owner of the physical item; recovering a lost physical item; receiving, by a client server, the unique identifier associated with the recovered lost physical item; searching, by a processing device, the database for a matching unique identifier with the unique identifier associated with the recovered lost physical item; and communicating to the user the name of the owner of the recovered lost physical item through the communication network.

Continuous inventory management
A system, including, associating a wireless tracker with an asset, wherein the wireless tracker emits a tracker identification and a sensor payload including a fixed identification, receiving by at least one of a plurality of mobile devices the tracker identification, the sensor payload and an associated location of the at least one of the plurality of mobile devices and monitoring the tracker identification and the associated location of the at least one of the plurality of mobile devices.
System and method for automatic generation of work site equipment groupings
A system for automatic generation of a work site equipment grouping is provided. The system includes a plurality of work machines, each work machine configured to wirelessly communicate with other work machines. The system also includes a local area network including a plurality of communicatively connected nodes. The nodes include the work machines. The work machines are configured to create and join the local area network when the work machines are within a signal range of one or more of the plurality of nodes.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A wireless communication system is mounted on a moving body, and includes a wireless communication unit, a terminal identification (ID) reader, an operation receiver, a moving body state detector, a communication permission list, and a controller. The wireless communication unit transmits and receives information to and from the wireless terminal. The terminal ID reader reads, from the wireless terminal, ID information that identifies the wireless terminal. The operation receiver receives a specific operation from a user. The moving body state detector detects an operation state of the moving body. The communication permission list stores the ID information of a wireless terminal that is permitted to communicate with the wireless communication unit. When the operation receiver receives the operation from the user and the moving body state detector detects that the moving body is in a preset operation state, the controller adds, in the communication permission list, the ID information of the wireless terminal read by the terminal ID reader.
Item Identification and Tracking System and Data Access and Governance System
A method of uniquely identifying an item, the item being a member of a batch of nominally identical items. Each item is characterised by variability within the batch with respect to at least one inherent characteristic of the item. The at least one inherent characteristic of the item arises from a material or process used in manufacture of the item. The method includes scanning each item at a point of manufacture with respect to the at least one inherent characteristic. Data is acquired on the at least one inherent characteristic sufficient to uniquely distinguish the item from other items of the batch.
