A method, computer device, and security detail (SD) communication device enables real-time tracking and security of shipments. The method includes receiving a plurality of location signals indicating a location of multiple geographically co-located shipment-related entities that are being tracked as a shipment group. The shipment group includes an assigned security detail that has a corresponding location signal. The method includes presenting the shipment group as a plurality of co-located visual representations on a shipment tracking user interface (STUI) of the computing device, where each location signal is represented among the co-located visual representations. The method includes monitoring for any unscheduled deviations in at least one of an expected co-location and an expected geo-location of received updates to the location signals within the shipment group. The method further includes, in response to detecting an unscheduled deviation, triggering responsive actions, including notifying SD personnel, based on the type of deviation.

The second node includes an environmental sensor, a low-power wireless-communication interface, a first processor, and a first memory communicatively coupled with the first processor, the first memory storing machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the first processor, cause the first processor to: capture a second set of environmental data; compute an environmental differential between the first set of environmental data and the second set of environmental data; compare the environmental differential to a predetermined environmental threshold; and transmit a notification to a client application of the wireless sensing system running on a client device of the wireless sensing system when the environmental differential exceeds the predetermined environmental threshold.

The present invention relates generally to the field of tracking devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a package tracking system. The system is primarily comprised of at least one sleeve and at least one tracking device with a body, further comprised of at least one transmitter and at least one label. In the preferred embodiment, the tracking device is encased within the sleeve. The sleeve is preferably adhesive and can therefore be placed inside a package and secured within a package. The transmitter of the tracking device can be activated once inside the package to allow a user to view the GPS location of the package via a mobile application. In this manner, a package the tracking device is in can be tracked if said package is stolen after delivery of the package, but before the package could be received by a consumer.

The method includes providing a transportation service to the user using the particular user device and the selected transportation vehicle.
