Methods and apparatus for providing redundant networking capabilities for teleoperations
According to one aspect, a method includes identifying a first signal, which carries or otherwise includes data, to be provided to a system by a vehicle. The method includes determining a first amount of bandwidth, the first amount of bandwidth being associated with the signal, determining a second amount of bandwidth, the second amount of bandwidth being an available bandwidth associated with a plurality of modems included on the vehicle to enable the vehicle to communicate with the system, and dividing the first signal into a first plurality of portions based at least on the first amount of bandwidth and the second amount of bandwidth. The first plurality of portions is provided to the plurality of modems for transmission from the vehicle to the system, and is transmitted to the system using the plurality of modems and a plurality of channels associated with the plurality of modems.

MANAGEMENT OF MULTIPLE DEVICES WITHIN AN ANALYTE MONITORING ENVIRONMENT
Systems, devices, and methods are provided for the management of multiple sensor control devices and/or multiple reader devices in an in vivo analyte monitoring environment, and also for resolving conflicts when merging data collected by different reader devices.
OCCUPANCY SENSING AND BUILDING CONTROL USING MOBILE DEVICES
Apparatus, systems and methods for ascertaining the occupancy of a building are presented. The building is divided into one or more control zones which correspond to physical areas of the building associated with controllable modules, such as HVAC units, lighting, irrigation, or other environmental features such as fountains, music, video, and the like. Zone parameters define how zone devices shall react to the number of occupants located in the particular zone. A building control system detects individual mobile devices in and around the building, and determines the locations of each device by using trilateration and/or location services. The identified mobile devices act as proxies for building occupants. The locations of these devices are correlated with the locations of the zones in the building, and the building control system then adjusts the operating parameters of the zone based on the number of devices present in the zone.
COMMUNICATION TIMING CONTROL METHOD, COMMUNICATION SERVICE SYSTEM AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TERMINAL
A communication timing control method for a communication service system provided with wireless communication devices, a wireless network, and an upper server groups the wireless communication devices using device information including characteristics of a service provided to the wireless communication devices entering the communication service system via the wireless network, characteristics of communication data handled in an execution application for receiving the provided service, and transfer characteristics of the wireless communication devices receiving the provided service. Next, a group-specific communication timing is determined for the grouped wireless communication devices. Next, communication is performed on the basis of the determined communication timing.
SMART SPORT DEVICE
An Internet of Thing (IoT) sport device includes a body with a processor, a camera and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
Controlling a Device Using Tabular Data
A device controllable via tabular data and a computer-implemented method for interactively performing operations on tabular data. The method comprises providing an input array, an operations array, and an output array, wherein each array includes at least one cell, receiving, in the operations array, a first reference to a cell of the input array, receiving tabular data from an input source, and performing operations on multiple rows of the tabular data. The operations comprise inserting one of the rows of the tabular data into the input array, determining a value of a second cell of the operations array based on the referenced cell of the input array, and storing one of the following in a cell of the output array: the determined value of the operations array and a value of the referenced cell of the input array.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VERIFYING WIRELESS CONNECTION BETWEEN MEDICAL DEVICES
A method for verifying wireless devices connected to a wireless medical body area network, MBAN, is provided. The method comprises activating a request for verification by a user activating the request for verification on any one of the wireless devices; receiving the request for verification by the any one wireless device of the wireless MBAN; and indicating a plurality of wireless devices connected to the wireless MBAN by displaying an indication on the plurality of wireless devices. A wireless MBAN comprising wireless devices. The wireless MBAN comprises each wireless device being configured for an activation of a verification; and a plurality of the wireless devices being configured to display an identification upon the activation of the verification.
Platform for data sharing of patient-generated real-world data from clinical trials
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer-readable media, for a hierarchical multi-tenant data access platforms. In some implementations, the a server system stores data collected through a multi-tenant data access platform configured to collect data for each of multiple tenant organizations and to selectively make the collected data available according to policies associated with the respective tenant organizations. The server system receives a request associated with a user, and the server system generates and provides a response according to the organization hierarchy data and policy data for the unit of the organization that has data that would be used in generating the response to the request.
Gateway system with multiple modes of operation in a fleet management system
A method and a gateway system of a mobile asset are described. A voltage produced by a power system of the mobile asset is monitored by a gateway system. In response to determining that a first fluctuation occurs in the voltage produced by the power system of the mobile asset over a first interval of time, the gateway system operates in a first mode. In response to determining that a value of the voltage produced by the power system of the mobile asset is less than a voltage threshold, the gateway system automatically transitions to operating in a second mode, which is different from the first mode and causes the gateway system to consume less power than when it is operating in the first mode.
