Methods and apparatuses for exposure of monitoring event
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for exposure of monitoring event. According to an embodiment, a network exposure node receives a first request for subscribing to a plurality of monitoring reports for each of a group of terminal devices which include one or more terminal devices having both globally valid identifiers (IDs) and locally valid IDs. The network exposure node obtains, from a subscriber management node, the globally valid IDs and the locally valid IDs of the one or more terminal devices and a correspondence between the globally valid IDs and the locally valid IDs. In response to receiving from a mobility management node a monitoring report for a terminal device in the group of terminal devices, the network exposure node determines, for the terminal device, a current remaining number of monitoring reports based on the obtained IDs and correspondence.
N14 INTERFACE SUPPORT INDICATOR FOR SERVICE CONTINUITY
Provided is a method and device for an N14 interface support indicator for service continuity. A next generation radio access network (NG-RAN) node of a first network receives an initial UE context configuration request message from an access and mobility management function (AMF) of the first network. The initial UE context configuration request message includes (i) a registration acceptance message that is a response to a registration request message, and (ii) information on at least one second network supported by the first network, and the registration acceptance message includes information on whether an N14 interface between the AMF of the first network and an AMF of the at least one second network is supported. The NG-RAN node of the first network initiates handover to one network among the at least one second network, based on the information on the at least one second network.
System and Method for Image Matching Using Networked Mobile Communication
Communication is established between a plurality of users through mobile computing devices. A server communicates with the mobile computing devices. Unique User Identifiers (UUIDs) are registered on the server through a network, and a database connected to the server stores the uploaded UUIDs and associated data. The server receives and sends communications to and from the mobile computing devices, receives UUIDs and associated data from mobile computing devices, and sends UUIDs and associated data to one or more mobile computing devices. The user's mobile computing device is used to identify an image and to determine an image resemblance measured with facial recognition algorithms that represent deviations in facial features and dimensions.
METHOD OF SECURED TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION OF DISCOVERY MESSAGE IN A D2D COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The various embodiments of the present invention disclose a method of secured transmission and reception of discovery message in device to device (D2D) communication system. According to one embodiment, a transmitting user equipment (UE) receives a ProSe group key (PGK) from a Prose function to perform a D2D communication in a D2D public safety group. The transmitting UE then derives a ProSe traffic key (PTK) using the PGK for transmitting data packets in the D2D communication. Using the PTK, the transmitting UE further derives a Prose integrity protection key (PIK) for securing a discovery message to discover one or more receiving UEs. The transmitting UE transmits the integrity protected discovery message using the derived PIK to the receiving UE. In turn, the receiving UE transmits a response message in a secure manner by deriving a PIK using PGK configured for the receiving UE. The various embodiments of the present invention disclose a method of a terminal. According to one embodiment, the method comprises of deriving a first traffic key and a second traffic key based on a group key, deriving a first security key for securing a discovery message based on the first traffic key and a second security key for securing data packets based on the second traffic key, and transmitting the discovery message generated based on the first security key.
MOBILITY SIGNALLING FOR USER EQUIPMENT USING DUAL CONNECTIVITY
A method according to some embodiments includes receiving identification of a cell in a Secondary eNodeB (SeNB cell) that is proposed to be added to a Secondary Cell Group of a user equipment node, a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) ID associated with the SeNB cell and a CSG Membership status of the user equipment node relative to the CSG ID; determining if the SeNB cell is operating in a closed or hybrid access mode; adding the SeNB cell to the Secondary Cell Group of the user equipment node in response to determining that the SeNB is operating in the hybrid access mode; and thereafter, verifying the CSG Membership status of the user equipment node relative to the CSG ID.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HANDLING UE WITH CAG SUBSCRIPTION IN WIRELESS NETWORK
The present disclosure discloses method and apparatus for handling a user equipment (UE) (100) with a closed access group (CAG) subscription in a wireless network by a first network device (200). The method comprises receiving a registration request from the UE (100); and transmitting, a first message to a second network device (300), in response to receiving the registration request, wherein the first message indicates a request to register with the second network device (300) on behalf of the UE (100), and whether the first network device (200) supports CAG feature.
Prevention of congestion at radio access in a mobile or wireless communication system
In one aspect, there is provided is a method for preventing congestion at radio access in a mobile or wireless communication system, said method comprising, in an embodiment, a step of: barring a Mobile Terminal from radio access, except if said Mobile Terminal belongs to a given one of different ranges into which Mobile Terminals are split, said given range being referred to as allowed range, said allowed range changing upon time.
Feature management of a communication device
A system and method for the real-time management of a device, and more particularly to the establishment and enforcement of policies or rules associated with the feature or functions that may be performed with the device, such as making and receiving calls, exchanging data, playing games and music, sending and receiving email, accessing web sites, and paying for goods and services. If a child or employee is using the device, there may be a need to regulate how that device can be used and to determine who will pay for what goods or services. In addition to providing all of the features associated with a device, service providers need to be able to establish and enforce rules (policies) regulating how and when that device can be used and who will pay for a good or service requested by the user of the device.
System and method for proximity based networked mobile communication
Communication between users of mobile devices is provided based on proximities between the users. Users are given unique identifiers, which are stored on a server, and mobile devices with the unique identifiers broadcast transmissions with their unique identifiers. The mobile devices listen for incoming identifiers from other mobile devices, and devices are detected directly or through an external radio communication device or hotspot. Additionally, indirect detection through another mobile device or hotspot is used to linking the first mobile device and the second mobile device. The detection is used to form a group of two or more mobile devices, providing at least a subset of profile information associated with the list of users in the group to the first mobile device to form proximity groups.
MULTI SUBSCRIPTION NETWORK PRIORITIZATION
Various communication systems may benefit from appropriate prioritization of users and/or devices. For example, wireless communication systems may benefit from multi-subscription network prioritization, such as systems for prioritizing subscribers with multiple subscriptions that are using fewer devices than they have subscriptions. A method can include determining that a device is associated with a plurality of subscriptions. The method can also include determining at least one related device is not in use, wherein the at least one related device is associated with same plurality of subscriptions. The method can further include assigning a higher priority to the device based on the determinations that the device has the plurality of associated subscriptions and has at least one related device not in use.
