PUBLISH AND SUBSCRIBE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
20220345852 · 2022-10-27 ·

One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for implementing a publish and subscribe communication system are provided. A topic identifier comprising publisher and subscriber information and a topic data type of a topic may be generated. The topic identifier and communication address information associated with the topic may be maintained at an external broker. The communication information may be provided from the external broker to a requestor in response to an inquiry regarding the topic identifier. Access to data published to the topic may be provided such that a publisher of the topic directly transfers data of the topic to a subscriber of the topic.

UNICASTING AND MULTICASTING MULTIMEDIA SERVICES

A network entity controls delivery of information to user devices over bearer paths including unicast channels and multicast channels. The network entity may interoperate in any of a number of network architectures, including 3GPP Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and 3GPP2 Multimedia Domain (MMD). The network entity may provide functionality of a modified 3GPP2 Broadcast and Multicast Service (BCMCS) controller component configured to enable BCMCS signaling protocol transactions to occur over 3GPP IMS interfaces and/or 3GPP2 MMD interfaces. A network entity configured to interoperate in a 3GPP IMS and/or 3GPP2 MMD network architecture may provide network-mobile multimedia services to user devices. Content associated with the multimedia services may be stored in storage devices in the network. A common interface through which a network operator defines service-specific parameters of a number of unicast and multicast multimedia services deployed in a distribution network may be provided.

Activation of One of a Maximum Number of Communication Profiles Associated With a User
20230084955 · 2023-03-16 ·

A communication function is provided. An activation request to enable a communication profile in a first user equipment is received at a mobile network operator (MNO). The communication profile is associated with a user. A maximum number of communication profiles associated with the user can be provided at the same time. A number of communication profiles which are associated with the user and which are currently enabled are determined by the MNO. In response to determining that the number of communication profiles which are associated with the user and which are currently enabled is equal to the maximum number of communication profiles are determined, a communication profile associated with the user in a second UE is disabled, and a communication profile associated with the user in the first UE is enabled.

A network access method includes a first terminal that sends a first message to an access management network element in a first non-public network, where the first message is used to request to register the first terminal with the first non-public network. The first terminal receives a second message from the access management network element, where the second message is used to indicate that registration of the first terminal with the first non-public network is rejected, the second message includes first indication information, and the first indication information indicates that access of the first terminal to the first non-public network is forbidden. The first terminal adds information about the first non-public network to a forbidden network list of the first terminal based on the first indication information.

MATCHING PIPELINE FOR A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Methods and systems for optimizing timing of sending communications to a user device are disclosed. The method includes identifying a first group of user objects having a first attribute. The method includes locating active checkpoints within a user path with each active checkpoint having a user object associated therewith. The method includes forming a second group of the user objects associated with the active checkpoints. The method includes removing, with a processing device, user objects from the first group and the second group that match a second attribute to form a third group with the remaining user objects form the first group and the second group. The method includes processing the active checkpoint for each user object of the third group in response to forming the third group.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM

A server device acquires location information indicating a location of a mobility, identification information on another mobility, the identification information being received from the other mobility by near field communication, and stop information indicating whether the mobility stops, from multiple mobilities; classifies two or more mobilities into a same mobility group, the two or more mobilities stopping and mutually receiving the identification information among the multiple mobilities; and specifies a stop place where the mobility group stops based on the location information on the two or more mobilities classified into the mobility group.

USER EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATION

The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for control-plane signaling for UE associations in wireless networks.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING MULTICAST GROUP PAGING FOR MBS MULTICAST SESSION ACTIVATION NOTIFICATION

The disclosure relates to a fifth generation (5G) or sixth generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method is provided. The method includes receiving, by a Next Generation Radio Access Network (NG-RAN) node, a multicast group paging message from an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) node, determining, by the NG-RAN node, one or more User Equipment (UE) that has to be page (e.g., multicast group paging) for the MBS multicast session activation notification based on the received multicast group paging message, performing, by the NG-RAN node, the multicast group paging for one or more determined UE, wherein the NG-RAN node pages the MBS multicast session activation notification to one or more determined UE.
