METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SPORTS SIMULATION
A sports simulator calculates the rotational and translational velocity of a sports object. The rotational velocity is calculated using image analysis. The translational velocity is calculated using image analysis and a set of emitters and sensors. The simulator then computes the future trajectory of the sports object based on the rotational and translational velocity. In one embodiment, the sports object is a golf ball and the sports simulator simulates golf.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ANALYSIS OF MOVEMENT OF A PIECE OF SPORTS EQUIPMENT
The invention relates to a method for the analysis of movement of a piece of sports equipment of a type of ball sport, in particular a racket, preferably a golf club, or a ball, preferably a golf ball, wherein a first virtual trajectory model is reproduced in a display device in a way that said first virtual trajectory model is displayed as a first line on the display device in superimposition with at least one, in particular in reality, visible section of the environment, particularly when a field of view is directed on the at least one section of the environment which is visible in reality.
SPORT RANGE SIMULATOR
Various implementations of a Shared Location-Dependent Perspective Renderer render background scenes onto shared display devices that are virtually segmented into two or more virtual viewports. Each virtual viewport corresponds to a separate physical region positioned relative the shared display. Each viewport is further defined by different virtual camera FOVs and vanishing points relative to the shared display. Physical objects launched towards the shared display from any physical region are rendered into the corresponding viewport as visible virtual objects based on both physical object trajectories and the corresponding vanishing point. Target objects rendered into the background scene from the perspective of any virtual viewport are also separately positioned into one or more of the other viewports as invisible virtual objects based, in part, on the vanishing points associated with those other virtual viewports. Visible and invisible virtual objects are tracked to detect virtual collisions within any of the virtual viewports.
Applied Computer Technology for Golf Shot Alignment
Techniques are disclosed where computer technology is practically applied to solve the technical problem of helping golfers align their golf shots with respect to their targets. This technology can operate in coordination with an alignment device (e.g., an alignment stick) used by the golfer as an aid for aligning the golf shot with the target. In an example, the disclosed system can use image processing in combination with computer-based modeling of physical relationships with respect to an alignment device, ball, and/or target that exist in the real world to compute and adjust alignments for golf shots. This technology can provide real-time feedback to golfers for improved training and shot accuracy.

GOLF SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING DIGITAL ASSETS
A method of using a non-fungible token includes generating a digital asset including a virtual object and metadata. The metadata includes attributes that are mutable by an authorized user. The method further includes minting the non-fungible token, securing ownership of the digital asset to a blockchain, providing the digital asset on a digital platform, transferring the non-fungible token to a user wallet, and updating the metadata of the digital asset based on data associated with an event. The metadata includes a URL to a site hosted remotely, off of the blockchain, where the attributes are accessible.
Set piece simulation system and method for providing simulation by using same
A set piece simulation system provides a simulation of a set piece in soccer. The system includes a data transmission/reception unit, an image output unit, a kick information analysis unit, and an image processing unit. The data transmission/reception unit receives ball location information from a sensing device, the image output unit outputs a set piece background screen to an image output device, the sensed ball location and auxiliary information including angle(s) based on the ball location, the data transmission/reception unit receives a user's kick motion image and kick information including speed, spin rate, and/or direction of the ball, the kick information analysis unit analyzes movement path of the ball, and the image processing unit displays trajectory of the ball and the speed and spin information of the ball on the set piece background screen based on the analyzed movement path.
Throwable Objects
Embodiments of the invention relate to throwable toys such as shuttles and balls. In some of the illustrative embodiments a shuttle includes means to determine information relating to the throw or state of motion of the shuttle, and means to convey an audio information signal to a user during the throw.
SENSING DEVICE FOR CALCULATING INFORMATION ABOUT USER'S GOLF SHOT AND SENSING METHOD USING THE SAME
Disclosed are a sensing device for calculating information about a golf shot when the user hits a ball using a golf club in order to take a golf practice or play a virtual golf game using a screen golf system and a sensing method thereof, and in particular a sensing device for calculating information about a golf shot taken by a user, wherein, when acquiring and analyzing an image of a user hitting a ball using a golf club, the sensing device is configured to effectively detect the position of a feature point corresponding to the position of the golf club through analysis of the acquired image without attaching a certain characteristic marker to the golf club and to calculate various kinds of physical information about the motion of the golf club according to a golf shot using the feature point, and a sensing method using the same.
Systems and methods for coordinating radar data and image data to track a flight of a projectile
A system for coordinating radar data and image data to track a flight of a projectile includes a radar, an imager, and a controller. The imager provides an image of an area into which a projectile is to be launched. The controller receives the image and an identification of a target within the image and identifies a target line connecting the target and a launch position of the projectile. The controller also receives data from the radar relative to at least a portion of a trajectory of the projectile, generates image based trajectory data by correlating the radar data and the image, and alters the image to include the image based trajectory data within the image and the target line within the image.
