Access controlling network architectures utilizing novel cellular signaled access control and machine-learning techniques to identify, rank modify and/or control automated programmable entities (such as robots/bots) and their visual schemas, and methods for use thereof
In some embodiments, an exemplary access controlling network architecture may include: a computer platform configured to: receive, from an online entity, an action performance request; request, from an access controlling platform, an expected access control digital key to be presented to the online entity; receive the expected access control digital key; instruct to display the expected access control digital key at a computing device; cause a mobile originating communication, having the expected access control digital key and an identity linked to the computing device; determine a lack of a receipt of the access authentication indicator associated with the online entity from the access controlling platform; and perform, due to, for example, the online entity being a BOT, one of: modifying a visual schema of the online entity, disabling the online entity, or suspending one of: a performance of the online entity or the performance of the action by the online entity.
METHODS, APPARATUSES, AND SYSTEMS FOR DYNAMICALLY MANAGING ASSETS
Apparatuses, methods and systems for unlocking a tracking apparatus that is affixed to an asset are disclosed herein. In one example, a method of unlocking a tracking apparatus that is affixed to an asset is provided. The tracking apparatus may comprise an electronic tag electronically coupled to a securing component comprising an actuating element. The method may comprise: receiving asset information associated with the tracking apparatus; generating and storing a secure machine-readable code in conjunction with the asset information; in response to receiving a request to unlock the tracking apparatus, determining whether a received input corresponds with the stored secure machine-readable code; and providing an indication to cause an electronic reader in electronic communication with the tracking apparatus to trigger deactivating the actuating element.
VAULT PASSWORD CONTROLLER FOR REMOTE RESOURCE ACCESS AUTHENTICATION
A computer-implemented method for authenticating a request to access a remote resource includes identifying a request from a first device to access a resource located on a second device. The computer-implemented method further includes retrieving one or more encrypted passwords for authenticating access to the resource from a partition of a vault located on the first device. The computer-implemented method further includes comparing the one or more encrypted passwords retrieved from the partition of the vault located on the first device to one or more designated passwords stored on the second device. The computer-implemented method further includes granting the first device access to the resource located on the second device based, at least in part, on the one or more encrypted passwords retrieved from the partition of the vault located on the first device matching the one or more designated passwords stored on the second device.
TECHNIQUES FOR AUTHENTICATING BUILDING/ROOM ACCESS TERMINALS
The techniques described herein provide for authentication of a reader device over a wireless protocol (e.g., NFC or Bluetooth, BLE). The mobile device can receive and store the static public key of the reader device and one or more credentials, each credential specifying access to an electronic lock. The mobile device can receive an ephemeral reader public key, a reader identifier, and a transaction identifier. The mobile device can generate session key using the ephemeral mobile private key and the ephemeral reader public key and send the ephemeral mobile public key to the reader device. The reader device can receive the ephemeral mobile public key and sign and transmit a signature message to the mobile device. The mobile device can validate a reader signature and generate an encrypted credential that the reader can use to access an electronic lock. The reader device can authenticate the mobile device for mutual authentication.
Methods to authorizing secondary user devices for network services and related user devices and back-end systems
Methods are provided to authorize a secondary user device for a network service provided over a network. Responsive to receiving a request from a primary user device, a voucher may be transmitted over the network to the primary user device. A request for an authorization waiver may be received from the secondary user device over the network, wherein the request for the authorization waiver includes the voucher that was transmitted to the primary user device. Responsive to receiving the request from the secondary user device including the voucher, an authorization waiver may be transmitted to the secondary user device. Related methods of operating primary and secondary user devices are also discussed.
Device-level authorization for viewing content
In some embodiments, an electronic device organizes and selectively grants access to its authorization with a primary content provider to applications downloaded on the electronic device for viewing content from secondary content providers. In some embodiments, an electronic device prompts a user to download applications associated with a primary content provider in response to the user authorizing the electronic device with the primary content provider.
Consensus-based online authentication
Methods and systems for consensus-based online authentication are provided. An encryption device may be authenticated based on an authentication cryptogram generated by the encryption device. The encryption device may transmit a request for security assessment to one or more support devices. The support devices may individually assess the encryption device, other security devices, and contextual information. The support devices may choose to participate in a multi-party computation with the encryption device based on the security assessments. Support devices that choose to participate may transmit one or more secret shares or partial computations to the encryption device. The encryption device may use the secret shares or partial computations to generate an authentication cryptogram. The authentication cryptogram may be transmitted to a decryption device, which may decrypt the authentication cryptogram, evaluate its contents, and authenticate the encryption device based on its contents.
TOKEN, PARTICULARLY OTP, BASED AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for authenticating a mobile device of a user versus a third-party such that instead of a mobile phone number MSISDN of the mobile device, a Universal Unique User Identifier, U3I, assigned to the mobile device is used, in combination with a secure routing service server constructed to communicate with a third-party server and with an MNO server. The secure routing service server and the MNO server interact to translate the Universal Unique User Identifier, U3I, to the mobile phone number MSISDN so as to enable sending the token to the mobile device.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A communication apparatus capable of performing wireless communication with an external apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a communication setting including an authentication method parameter for the wireless communication, and a conversion unit configured to convert, in a case where the authentication method parameter included in the communication setting acquired by the acquisition unit indicates that a first authentication method is usable and a second authentication method with a security strength higher than that of the first authentication method is not usable, the authentication method parameter into an authentication method parameter indicating that the first authentication method and the second authentication method are both usable.
Apparatus and method for providing interaction information by using image on device display
A method for providing interaction information, such as, for example, settlement information, by which a device provides the settlement information to a counterpart device, includes displaying an image which relates to an item to be used for performing the interaction, such as, for example, a credit card image of a credit card of a user of the device, on a lock screen of the device, and receiving a touch input from the user with respect to the credit card image. In the method, settlement information which corresponds to the touched credit card image is used for performing a settlement via the device.
