METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCED V2X RECEIVER PROCESSING LOAD USING NETWORK BASED APPLICATION LAYER MESSAGE PROCESSING
A method at a network element for processing a first message destined for an intelligent transportation system station, the method including receiving from a sending entity, or generating, the first message at the network element; based on a source or contents of the first message, performing one of: discarding the first message; or modifying the first message to provide an indication to the intelligent transportation system station of checks the intelligent transportation system does not need to perform, thereby creating a second message; and forwarding the second message to the intelligent transportation system station.
RESTRICTED ACCESS PROCEDURE
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a registration request for restricted access (RA), wherein the registration request selectively includes an onboarding access request. The UE may selectively communicate with an onboarding network to authenticate and authorize a particular network based at least in part on whether the registration request includes the onboarding access request. The UE may complete the RA registration after transmitting the registration request and based at least in part on selectively communicating with the onboarding network to authenticate and authorize the particular network. Numerous other aspects are described.
BLOCKCHAIN SUPPORTED BANKNOTE
A banknote includes a security element with a processor and a memory. A private cryptographic key of an asymmetric key pair of the banknote is stored in a protected memory area of the memory. The asymmetric key pair is assigned to a banknote-specific blockchain address in a blockchain. A payment method executed with the banknote includes receiving a payment request for a payment with the banknote in the form of a transaction of an amount to be paid from the blockchain address of the banknote to a blockchain address of a payee, signing a transaction approval with the private cryptographic key of the banknote, and sending the signed transaction approval.
AN IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
Various example embodiments relate to identifying an electric vehicle charging station. An authentication method applicable with any electric vehicle charging station may be provided. In an embodiment, an alert or quarantine of an electric vehicle charging may be triggered based on invalid authentication. Advantageously, improved security may be provided for communication in a charging management system. A computing device, a method and a computer program are disclosed.

Access technology agnostic service network authentication
Serving network authentication and validation by a UE includes encrypting an identifier associated with the UE using a first instance of a public key associated with a serving network to which the UE is attempting to gain access; transmitting the identifier to the serving network; receiving from the serving network an authentication vector containing a second instance of the public key, the second instance of the public key having been encrypted using a key shared by the UE and a home network associated with the UE; decrypting the second instance of the public key using the key shared by the UE and the home network; comparing the first instance of the public key to the second instance of the public key; and when the first instance and the second instance are the same, determining that the home network has authenticated the serving network.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK AUTHORIZATION OF HOME USER EQUIPMENT AND VISITING USER EQUIPMENT
A home network serves a wireless service to visiting User Equipment (UEs) affiliated with visited networks and authorizes the wireless service for home UEs that are visiting the visited networks. A gateway transfers home context to a distributed ledger and receives visited context from the distributed ledger. The gateway transfers the visited context to a controller. The controller exchanges authorization data with the visited networks based on the visited context and the home context. The controller authorizes the wireless data service for the home UEs and the visiting UEs responsive to the exchange of the authorization data. The controller transfers session signaling to wireless access nodes responsive to the authorization of the wireless data service for the visiting UEs. The controller transfers authorization signaling to the visited networks responsive to the authorization of the wireless service for the home UEs.
Multiple data store authentication
Systems and methods for authenticating access to multiple data stores substantially in real-time are disclosed. The system may include a server coupled to a network, a client device in communication with the server via the network and a plurality of data stores. The server may authenticate access to the data stores and forward information from those stores to the client device. An exemplary authentication method may include receipt of a request for access to data. Information concerning access to that data is stored and associated with an identifier assigned to a client device. If the identifier is found to correspond to the stored information during a future request for access to the store, access to that store is granted.
