METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RADIO ACCESS NETWORK BASED NOTIFICATION AREA UPDATE
The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses. According to some embodiments of the disclosure, a method includes: selecting a first subscriber identity module from a plurality of subscriber identity modules of a user equipment; and transmitting a resume request message via the first subscriber identity module, wherein the resume request message comprises first radio access network (RAN)-based notification area (RNA) update information associated with the first subscriber identity module and second RNA update information associated with a second subscriber identity module of the plurality of subscriber identity modules.
AUTHENTICATION SERVICE WITH ADDRESS ROTATION SUPPORT
To improve adaptation of network infrastructure to address rotations performed by wireless client device, embodiments provide for an exchange of a stable machine identifier (SMI) between a network access device and an authentication service. Some embodiments define a new SMI attribute that is included in a authentication service access-request and/or access-accept message. When a network access device obtains an SMI for a particular wireless client device, the network access device passes the SMI to the authentication service. Similarly, if an authentication service obtains a SMI value for a wireless client device, this information is provided to a network access device.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING PROFILE POLICY RULE OF EMBEDDED SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION MODULE BY ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display device, at least one embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC), and at least one processor electrically connected to the display device and the eUICC, wherein the at least one processor is configured to receive an enable request for a first profile stored in the eUICC, in response to the enable request, identify whether at least one profile policy rule (PPR) is applied to the first profile, when the at least one PPR is applied to the first profile as a result of the identification, control to display a first screen including information related to the an application of the PPR through the display device, and upon receiving an enable approval for the first profile input through the first screen, process to enable the first profile.

Different profiles for selecting different network interfaces for communications of an electronic device
In some examples, an electronic device includes a plurality of network interfaces to communicate over respective different networks, and a storage medium to store information associating a first application of the electronic device with a first profile, and associating a second application of the electronic device with a second profile. The first profile selects a first network interface of the plurality of network interfaces to use for communications, and the second profile selects a second network interface of the plurality of network interfaces to use for communications.
Virtual line registration system
An improved core network that allows a UE to still initiate and/or receive communications via a native SIM line even if the registration of a virtual line fails is described herein. For example, the UE may include embedded virtual line settings that, when enabled, cause the UE to transmit a virtual line registration request to the core network. The core network can determine whether the UE is authorized to register a virtual line. If the UE is authorized, the core network can register a native SIM line, register the virtual line, and transmit a single message to the UE indicating that the native SIM and virtual lines are registered. If the UE is not authorized, the core network still registers the native SIM line and transmits a single message to the UE indicating that the native SIM line is registered.
CHANNEL OCCUPANCY TIME (COT) IN MULTI-SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY MODULE DEVICES
Wireless communications systems and methods related to channel occupancy time (COT) sharing in multi-subscriber identity module (MultiSim) devices are provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits, based on a first subscriber identity during a first portion of a channel occupancy time (COT) in an unlicensed band, a first communication signal. The UE transmits, based on a second subscriber identity during a second portion of the COT, a second communication signal, the second subscriber identity being different from the first subscriber identity.
OWNER IDENTIFICATION AND COMMUNICATION
Systems, devices, methods, computer-readable storage media, and electronic apparatuses for owner identification and communication are provided.
