Security for multi-link operation

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to security for multi-link operation. A device may determine a multi-link communication with a first multi-link device comprising two or more links associated with two or more station devices (STAs) included in the first multi-link device. The device may determine a first medium access control (MAC) address associated with a first link of the two or more links. The device may determine a second MAC address associated with a second link of the two or more links. The device may generate one or more pairwise security keys to be used in the multi-link communication on the two or more links. The device may cause to send a frame to the first multi-link device using at least one combination of the one or more pairwise security keys.

Proximity-Based Secure Communication System and Method for Digital Transactions
20230008112 · 2023-01-12 ·

The present disclosure discloses a proximity-based secure communication system and method for digital transactions. The system comprises: a slave terminal with a near field communication (NFC) radio frequency communication channel, wherein the slave terminal remains in the listening mode in the NFC radio frequency communication channel; and a master electronic device with an NFC radio frequency communication channel. The slave terminal is configured to send an Answer-to-Reset (ATR) to the master electronic device when, by proximity, the slave terminal detects the activation of the NFC radio frequency channel. The slave terminal and the master electronic device exchange Application Protocol Data Unit (APDU) commands that represent a digital transaction by means of the NFC radio frequency channel, such that the master electronic device sends request APDU commands to the slave terminal, and the master electronic device receives reply APDU commands from the slave terminal.

METHOD FOR INITIATING COMMUNICATION WITHIN A REGROUP OF COMMUNICATION GROUPS IN A 3GPP MCS NETWORK
20230217543 · 2023-07-06 ·

A method for initiating a communication within a regroup of communication groups, the method being implemented by a network according to the 3GPP MCS standard including at least two systems separated by a gateway hiding or deleting information necessary for initiating a communication in a global communication group to which entities distributed in the at least two systems are affiliated, the method especially including directly transmitting, between a participating server managing the client entity initiating the communication and a non-controlling server of the global communication group, an invite message according to the SIP protocol. Furthermore, some information is added in the different transmissions in order to allow additional checks by the different entities.

Managing permissions for different wireless devices to control a common host device

Disclosed herein is a technique for managing permissions associated with the control of a host device that are provided to a group of wireless devices. The host device is configured to pair with a first wireless device. In response to pairing with the first wireless device, the host device grants a first level of permissions for controlling the host device to the first wireless device. Subsequently, the host device can receive a second request from a second wireless device to pair with the host device. In response to pairing with the second wireless device, the host device can grant a second level of permissions for controlling the host device to second wireless device, where the second level of permissions is distinct from the first level of permissions.

Interworking system and operation in V2X applications

A communication system and method for supporting a plurality of vehicle-to-everything radio access technologies (V2X RATs) is provided. The communication system configured to support multiple V2X RATs transmits, using a first V2X RAT, an indication of its availability to support an interworking function between the plurality of V2X RATs. The communication system receives an instruction to provide the interworking function between different V2X RATs. The interworking function may be incorporated in a vehicle that is joined to a platoon configured to use a first V2X RAT, and provide the interworking function between the first and a second V2X RAT. The interworking function may be used to add further vehicles to the platoon that communicate using only the second V2X RAT.
