Management device, terminal device, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium
A management device managing terminal devices includes a memory, a receiver, a controller, and a transmitter. The memory stores: area management information in which area specifying information specifying an area where the terminal device is positioned and area kind information indicating characteristic of the area are associated with each other; and memory management information in which the area kind information and memory setting information on memory regions for respective functions used by the terminal device are associated with each other. The receiver receives a request message including the area specifying information of one of the terminal devices. The controller specifies the area kind information corresponding to the one terminal device based on the request message and acquires the memory setting information corresponding to the specified area kind information from the memory. The transmitter transmits the acquired memory setting information to the one terminal device.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING AIR INTERFACE CAPACITY DENSITY
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for adjusting air interface capacity density, where the method includes: determining whether a target physical cell whose air interface capacity density needs to be adjusted exists in a logical cell, where the logical cell includes one or more physical cells, each physical cell includes a group of pico radio remote units pRRUs, and one physical cell corresponds to one baseband tributary; and when a determining result is that a target physical cell whose air interface capacity density needs to be adjusted exists in the logical cell, adjusting the air interface capacity density of the target physical cell. Therefore, by implementing the embodiments of the present invention, air interface capacity density of a physical cell in a logical cell can be dynamically adjusted according to an actual situation of the physical cell.
System and Method for Dynamic Provisioning of Wi-Fi Capacity in Large Venues Using C-RAN Architecture
A computer-implemented method for dynamic provisioning of Wi-Fi capacity in areas using a centralized radio access network (C-RAN) architecture is presented. The computer-implemented method includes introducing a set of access points (APs) in a network for providing capacity required to serve a plurality of users accessing heterogeneous content, introducing a set of remote radio heads (RRHs) in the network acting as transmit/receive points, tracking traffic fluctuations, and adapting front-haul configurations at a granularity of epochs, where measurements from previous epochs serve as input to drive current epochs.
Method and apparatus for self organized network
A self-organizing wireless network (SON) includes a plurality of base stations. Each base station includes a SON component for coordinating radio resource allocation with other base stations and a radio resource management component for accepting an allocation from the SON component and managing usage of that allocation for end user equipment associated with its base station. The base stations provide access to a plurality of end user equipment. The SON may include a server for communicating with the SON component for coordinating of radio resource allocation. The self-organizing wireless network may include a central control for communicating with the SON component for coordinating of radio resource allocation. Coordinating of radio resources relates to physical channels, transmit power, spatial resource allocation, admission control, load balancing, coordinating network elements in groups and includes adapting to addition of and reduction of network elements in a group in real time.
Resources in a communication system
A shortage of at least one resource is determined in a first radio network control entity that has joined a pool of radio network control resources. The first radio network control entity signals to at least one second radio network control entity of the pool a request for at least one resource. The at least one second radio network control entity receives the request for at least one resource and offers for the first radio network control entity.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING COMPONENTS OF A FIFTH GENERATION (5G) NETWORK SLICE
The disclosure relates to a method and system, for managing components of a fifth generation (5G) network slice. The method comprises retrieving current locations of a plurality of user equipments (UEs) connected to radio base stations (RBSs) in communication with the 5G network slice; predicting future traffic at the RBSs based on past and current locations of the plurality of UEs; and managing the components of the 5G network slice based on the predicted future traffic patterns.
CONFIGURATION OF RESOURCE PATTERNS FOR INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may receive at least part of a resource pattern of a child IAB node associated with the IAB node. The resource pattern may indicate one or more configurations of one or more resources of the child IAB node. The IAB node may communicate with the child IAB node based on the at least part of the resource pattern. Numerous other aspects are provided.
PCI Conflict Detection, Adjustment Method, and Device
An information transmission method and related device, the method including receiving, by a terminal device, a first synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel block measurement timing configuration (SMTC) associated with configuring an occasion for the terminal device to measure a synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel block (SSB), obtaining an SSB measurement result by measuring the SSB in the occasion configured through the first SMTC, determining that the SSB measurement result is incorrect for an SSB corresponding to any physical cell identifier (PCI) in response to the terminal device failing to measure at least one of the SSB in increasing order, or measure the SSB at a preset location, and reporting. in response to the SSB measurement result being incorrect, a first SMTC report, where the first SMTC report indicates that the SSB measurement result is incorrect.
