SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NETWORK ACCESS POINT INSTALLATION AND ACCESS CONTROL
Disclosed herein are systems and methods configured to provide customized and guided instructions for the placement of multiple access points in a home envelope to optimize-coverage therein. The exemplified system and method facilitates the learning of the home envelope, the determining of placements of devices within different locations within the home envelope, and the guiding of the homeowner or occupant through the installation process of the devices at such placements. The provided information are customized and tailored for a given home envelope. In addition, the exemplified systems and methods simplifies the task of adding personal wireless devices to a network whereby no password is used.
Optimized distribution of wireless broadband in a building
Methods and systems are disclosed for optimizing the distribution of a broadband wireless signal in a building. The methods and systems include at least one antenna inserted into a building ventilation system and transmitting a wireless broadband signal from a transmitter in communication with the antenna. The wireless broadband signal will include multiple orthogonal subcarriers. The methods and systems further include detecting the wireless broadband signal with a receiver in the building. In selected embodiments, the methods and systems may include the steps of analyzing a parameter of the detected wireless broadband signal and optimizing the wireless broadband signal based at least in part upon the analyzed parameter.

OPTIMIZING PLACEMENT OF A WIRELESS RANGE EXTENDER
Described are systems, devices, and techniques for extending wireless networks and associated systems, devices, and techniques for determination of optimal locations of a wireless range extender, such as by evalauating a quality of a wireless signal originating from a wireless gateway or access device and determining whether an alternative placement of a wireless range extender would result in improved quality. Also described are systems, devices, and techniques for automatically grouping multiple bands of a single wireless access device as well as systems, devices, and techniques that simplify connection of wireless devices to a wireless access device, such as by evaluating wireless messages transmitted on different bands to determine that the wireless messages originate from the same wireless access device.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM, AND INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ELEVATOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
The present invention provides an elevator system which prevents interruption of communication with a wireless communication device installed in a car, while suppressing the cost. The elevator system includes the car ascending/descending in a hoistway, multiple hoistway wireless communication devices installed in the hoistway, and a car wireless communication device installed in the car. The elevator system is configured to allow communication between the hoistway wireless communication device and the car wireless communication device. A spacing between the hoistway wireless communication devices which are installed at positions near a vertical center of the hoistway is smaller than a spacing between the hoistway wireless communication devices which are installed at positions farther from the vertical center.
