METHOD FOR PROCESSING DATA IN CONSIDERATION OF TCP/IP
The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5.sup.th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A method for processing a packet by a transmission device in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: checking whether a data radio bearer (DRB) mapped to a quality of service (QoS) flow changes from a first DRB to a second DRB; and when the DRB changes from the first DRB to the second DRB, transmitting, to a reception device, information on a last packet transmitted through the first DRB in the QoS flow.

TERMINAL AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
A terminal includes: a control unit configured to connect to another terminal in an RRC (Radio Resource Control) layer; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit data to the another terminal. In a case where the another terminal or the terminal itself performs at least one of transmission, reception, and sensing during a specific timing, the control unit controls an operation related to the connection in the RRC layer, based on the specific timing.

DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A data transmission method is provided. The method comprises: a terminal device receiving first indication information, wherein the first indication information is used to determine whether the terminal device is valid; and the terminal device determining, according to the first indication information, whether to transmit first data. Further disclosed are another data transmission method, an electronic device, and a storage medium.

Method and system for surveillance system management
Exemplary surveillance system is provided having a plurality of data generating devices, and nodes for data handling of the data streams generated from the data generating devices. The system may be configured to fragment the data streams and store the fragments among the plurality of nodes of the system. The system may be configured to redundantly transmit data through the nodes so the fragmented data stream arrive at the desired location for storage. The data transmission may permit redirection or retransmission based on node or data transmission failure.

SMS enhancement for new radio
A user equipment (UE) indicates to a network the types of SMS messages that the UE does not support. The network receives an indication from the UE corresponding to one or more types of short message service (SMS) messages that are supported by the UE, receives a SMS that is intended to be delivered to the UE, determines whether to forward the SMS message to the UE based on the indication received from the UE, when the SMS message is a type of SMS message supported by the UE, forwards the SMS message to the UE and, when the SMS message is not a type of SMS message supported by the UE, discards the SMS message.
