Priority-based MU-MIMO pairing threshold for codebook beamforming in 5G NR massive MIMO systems
Methods, media, and systems are provided for a priority-based multi-user (MU) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) pairing threshold for codebook beamforming. The methods, media, and systems identify a plurality of user device candidates for a user device pairing. A first user device of the plurality of user device candidates having a higher priority than another user device of the plurality of user device candidates is identified. A correlation of the first user device with a second user device of the plurality of user device candidates is determined to be below a threshold. Based on determining that the correlation is below the threshold, the first user device is paired with the second user device for sharing a resource.
Apparatus for supporting and influencing QoS levels
The present disclosure provides methods and apparatuses related to mobile network systems. In an implementation, a method comprises configuring, by an application function (AF) of an apparatus in a mobile network system, a policy control function (PCF) to provide a plurality of Quality of Service (QoS) levels for a session related to an application or a service; and requesting, by the AF, the PCF to configure the plurality of QoS levels, wherein a QoS flow is associated with a plurality of QoS profiles for configuring the plurality of QoS levels in response to the QoS flow being established.

Multi-access edge computing low latency information services
A multi-access edge computing (MEC) platform may receive an indication that a user device has downloaded a MEC application client associated with a MEC application and may send, to the user device, instructions to install a device client. The device client may transmit device information associated with the user device to the MEC platform. The MEC platform may receive the device information associated with the user device and determine, based on the received device information, performance information associated with the MEC application.

COMMUNICATION METHOD, NETWORK ELEMENT, TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
This application provides a communication method, a network element, a terminal apparatus, and a system. The communication method includes: receiving, by a first network element, first indication information from a second network element, where the first indication information is used to indicate that a current condition supports establishment of a session of a first network for a terminal apparatus; obtaining, by the first network element, first quality of service QoS control information of a first session of the terminal apparatus after receiving the first indication information, where the first session is a session established by the terminal apparatus by using a second network; and sending, by the first network element, the first QoS control information to the second network element. The communication method in the embodiments of this application can improve communication efficiency.
UPLINK AND DOWNLINK STREAMING BIT RATE ASSISTANCE IN 4G AND 5G NETWORKS
Various embodiments may provide streaming service downlink network assistance and/or uplink network assistance mechanisms in a fifth generation (5G) system (5GS) network via an Application Function (AF) computing device in a 5GS. In some embodiments, a computing device and/or the AF computing device may inform the network about needs for capacity for downlink or uplink traffic. Various embodiments may include sending radio access network (RAN) capacity requests to a network computing device of the 5GS network including a 5G RAN. In some embodiments, the network computing device of the 5GS network may be a computing device that is not part of the 5G RAN. In some embodiments, capacity need messages may be sent directly from user equipment (UE) computing devices to computing devices of the 5G RAN. In some embodiments, capacity information of the RAN may be delivered to an AF computing device via an intermediate network function.
MANAGEMENT APPARATUS
A management apparatus includes an obtainer that obtains a start request to request a start of control of quality of a communication service provided to one of a plurality of terminal apparatuses, each of the plurality of terminal apparatuses being connected to one of a plurality of networks managed by a plurality of communication carriers, and terminal information about the terminal apparatus; an identifier that identifies, from among the plurality of communication carriers, a communication carrier that provides the communication service to the terminal apparatus, based on the terminal information; and a service manager that executes predetermined processing for causing a quality control system of the identified communication carrier to start the control of the quality of the communication service to the terminal apparatus.

COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
A terminal is provided. The terminal includes a communication unit configured to perform communication, and a control unit configured to request a service with priority control related to the communication. The control unit is: an application that performs configuration related to a resource control unit for distributing communication packets associated with a communication path; or a client of the service with priority control related to the communication.
