Session establishment method and apparatus
A session establishment method and an apparatus, such that an established packet data network (PDN) connection is transferred to a network slice in a fifth generation (5G) network during inter-system mobility of a terminal. The method includes receiving, by a terminal from a control plane function entity, corresponding network slice information used for transferring an established PDN connection to a 5G network, where the corresponding network slice information includes corresponding single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI). The method further includes sending a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request, where the PDU session establishment request includes corresponding S-NSSAI used for transferring a first PDN connection to the 5G network and a corresponding data network name (DNN) used for transferring the first PDN connection to the 5G network, and the first PDN connection is any one of one or more established PDN connections.
INFORMATION REPORTING METHOD, INFORMATION RECEIVING METHOD, TERMINAL AND NETWORK DEVICE
Embodiments of the disclosure provide an information reporting method, an information receiving method, a terminal and a network device. The information reporting method includes: reporting, to a network device, information of a connection failure or a secondary cell addition failure, wherein the connection failure includes at least one of the following: a conditional handover failure, a reduction in user data interruption (RUDI) failure and a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) failure.
SCHEME FOR SELECTING SMF NODE
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for operating an access and mobility management function (AMF) node for selecting a session management function (SMF) node. The method may comprise the steps of receiving a first message including application function (AF) request information from an AF node; selecting or reselecting an SMF on the basis of the AF request information; and transmitting a second message including the AF request information to the selected or reselected SMF.
Method and eNodeB for forwarding downlink and uplink packets based on S1 handover
A method for forwarding downlink packets based on S1 handover is provided. The method includes: numbering a packet not processed by using PDCP according to a message that comprises PDCP Serial Number (SN) information if downlink packets to be forwarded include the packet not processed by using PDCP; and sending the downlink packets to the UE according to the PDCP SN corresponding to the packet included in the downlink packets. A method for forwarding uplink packets based on S1 handover is disclosed. The method includes: receiving state report information of the packet sent by the target eNodeB; and sending the packet according to the state report information of the packet. Another method for forwarding downlink packets based on S1 handover and an eNodeB are disclosed. Through the embodiments of the present disclosure, the packets are forwarded without loss in the case of S1 handover.
ACCESS CONTROL APPARATUS AND USER PLANE APPARATUS
An access control apparatus including: a reception unit; and a control unit configured to store, in a buffer, data transmitted from a terminal from when the reception unit receives a first message indicating that an application server is to be switched until when the reception unit receives a second message indicating move completion of an application context.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING HANDOVER IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a method and device for performing handover in a wireless communication system. An operating method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system may include: receiving, from a source base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message indicating handover, the RRC reconfiguration message including data radio bearer (DRB) configuration information; in case that the DRB configuration information includes an indicator indicating a configuration of a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) for at least one DRB, generating a multimedia access control (MAC) entity for a target base station; configuring the MAC entity for the target base station based on MAC configuration information included in the RRC reconfiguration message indicating the handover; suspending a signaling radio bearer (SRB) for the source base station; and establishing or configuring a SRB for the target base station.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DATA TRANSMISSION BASED ON SWITCHING QUALITY OF SERVICE FLOW
The present disclosure describes methods, system, and devices for switching a quality of service (QoS) flow from a source network node to a target network node. The method includes sending, by a first network node, a first request to the target network node; receiving, by the first network node, a first response to the first request from the target network node; and sending, by the first network node, a second request to the source network node. The method may also include receiving, by the first network node, a second response to the second request from the source network node; and sending, by the first network node, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration complete indication to the source network node.
CELL HANDOVER METHOD AND DEVICE
A cell handover method and a device are provided. The method is executed by a terminal device and includes: handing over to a target cell or a target TRP in a case that at least one of the following is satisfied: a first CORESET is associated with the target cell or the target TRP; related information of a first TRP points to the target cell or the target TRP; a first RS points to the target cell or the target TRP; a first TCI points to the target cell or the target TRP; first spatial relation information points to the target cell or the target TRP; or a first RACH resource points to the target cell or the target TRP.
Data Service Handover Method and Apparatus
Embodiments of this application provide a data service handover method and an apparatus. The method includes: a terminal device detects failure of a secondary cell group; and the terminal device starts a timer, and if a network device has not handed over to a master base station within a timing duration of the timer a data service transmitted by the secondary cell group, when the timer expires, the terminal device notifies the network device to hand over the data service to the master base station.
SERVICE CONTINUITY FOR PDU SESSION ANCHOR RELOCATION
Method and apparatus for improving the flexibility of supporting service continuity are disclosed. A method comprises receiving a PCC rule containing a traffic steering control information per AF request which includes an indication on whether service continuity for offload traffic is supported or not; and performing a PSA relocation based on the information.
