An information processing method and a communication node are disclosed. The method is applied to a first Device-to-Device (D2D) User Equipment (UE), and includes that: auxiliary information is received from a first access node of the first D2D UE; and according to the auxiliary information, a second access node is accessed; the first access node and the second access node are of different types. A computer storage medium is also disclosed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INTERNET RESOURCE SHARING
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for Internet resource sharing between multiple subscribers, for example, a first subscriber and a second subscriber, each of which may be in active communications with a cellular network or in a standby mode. It may be determined whether to use an internet connectivity provided by the first subscriber for an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service on the second subscriber. The second subscriber may conduct the IMS service via internal hotspot provided by the first subscriber or via the second subscriber's own cellular network, or switch between the two. A packet data network connection may be established to transport IMS data and signaling between the second subscriber and a gateway of the second network through the first network.
Communications device, infrastructure equipment, and methods
A communications device configured to transmit signals representing data to one or more in-coverage communications devices forming with the communications device a group, one of the in-coverage communications devices acting as an active relay node for the communications device, so that the in-coverage communications device can transmit signals representing the data to the infrastructure equipment of the mobile communications network, and to receive signals representing the data from the in-coverage communications device acting as the active relay node. The signals transmitted to the in-coverage communications device are received according to a device-to-device communications protocol, wherein the signals transmitted by the communications device or received by the communications device include an identifier which identifies the signals to the in-coverage communications device. One of the other in-coverage communications device can be selected by the infrastructure equipment to act as the active relay node.
Method and device for performing session handover in wireless communication system
The present specification relates to a method by which a first terminal performs a session handover in a wireless communication system, wherein the method for performing a session handover can comprise the steps of: forming an ASP session with a second terminal by a first connecting method; transmitting a session handover request to the second terminal; receiving a session handover response from the second terminal; and transmitting a session handover confirm to the second terminal, wherein, when the session handover response is received from the second terminal, the formed ASP session can be handed over by a second connecting method.
Measurement control for UE relay selection in ProSe based UE-to-network relay
Methods, devices, systems, techniques, and computer program products are provided in which an eNB, within a wireless communications network, determining network coverage status relating to a cell served by it, where the eNB supports UE-to-Network relay for a remote UE using direct device-to-device communication between the remote UE and a relay UE connected to the serving cell. Based on a determination of network coverage status, at least one UE is initiated and selected to act as a relay UE. The radio interface link quality of the relay UE can be evaluated and the relay UE can be configured to send an indication of the radio interface link quality to the remote UE. Based on the determined network coverage status and selection of a relay UE, the remote UE is controlled by the eNB for the relay UE discovery and selection either directly or via the relay UE.
Method and system for handling device to device (D2D) communication
A system and a method for a base station to reduce signaling overhead in device-to-device (D2D) communication are provided. The method includes a list of one or more destination identities (IDs) in a signaling message from at least one of UE and source base station, receiving a destination index in a buffer status report (BSR) from UE to request dedicated resources for transmitting D2D communication packets to a destination, determining the destination ID corresponding to destination index received in the BSR using the list of one or more destination IDs received from at least one of UE and source base station wherein the destination index is the index of destination ID in the list of destination IDs received, and allocating resources to the UE based on the determined destination ID.
Handover procedures involving sidelink communications
A system, method and apparatus for wireless communications is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a first base station, one or more first messages that include measurement configuration parameters and sidelink parameters associated with a first cell. The UE establishes a sidelink with a second UE based on the sidelink parameters and transmits, to the first base station, a measurement report based on the measurement configuration parameters. Responsive to the measurement report, the UE receives a second message comprising second configuration parameters of a second cell of a second base station. The second configuration parameters do not comprise sidelink parameters. The UE then switches from the first cell of the first base station to the second cell of the second base station. The sidelink of the first cell is handed over to an uplink of the second cell.
TECHNIQUES FOR EFFICIENT MOBILITY USING RELAY DEVICES
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may determine whether the UE is inside or outside of a vehicle with a relay device. Techniques for determining whether the UE is inside or outside of the vehicle are described herein. The UE may determine whether to camp on a cell of the relay device based on whether the UE is inside or outside the vehicle. The base station may perform connected mode mobility for the UE based on whether the UE is inside or outside the vehicle.
Method for Switching Communication Mode, and Terminal Device and Network Device
A method for switching a communication mode includes: a terminal device receives first indication information sent by a network device, used for instructing the terminal device to switch from a current communication mode to a target communication mode, the current communication mode and the target communication mode are any two of a first communication mode, a second communication mode, and a third communication mode, the first communication mode is a communication mode in which the communication is performed via a Uu interface, the second communication mode is a communication mode in which the communication is performed via a direct-connection interface and controlled by the network device, and the third communication mode is a communication mode in which the communication is performed via a direct-connection interface and controlled by the terminal device; and the terminal device switches a communication mode according to the first indication information.
PDCP ANCHORED CHANGE OF RELAY BASED CONNECTION
A wireless communication device (10) controls changing of a connection of the wireless communication device (10) to an access node (100) of the wire-less communication network between: a relay based connection to the access node (100), and either a direct connection to the access node (100) or another relay based connection to the access node (100). The relay based connection extends via a device-to-device communication link (30) between the wireless communication device (10) and a first further wireless communication device (40). The other relay based connection extends via another device-to-device communication link (30) between the wireless communication device (10) and a second further wireless communication device (40). Further, the wireless communication (10) sends an indication to the access node (100). The indication enables the access node (100) to identify an existing Packet Data Convergence Protocolcontext, which was utilized before changing the connection, and to continue utilizing the existing PDCP context after the changing of the connection.
