Handover signaling for beamforming communications
According to one or more aspects, a wireless device may transmit a message to a serving base station comprising parameters indicating that the wireless device supports configuration of a first quantity of channel state information (CSI) processes. The serving base station may transmit a message to the wireless device comprising measurement configuration parameters for the wireless device. The serving base station may transmit an indication of the measurement configuration parameters to a target base station in response to a determination to make a handover of the wireless device.
Method and apparatus for communication to prevent communication link failure in millimeter band communication system
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for communication in a millimeter band communication system. In a case in which a first terminal obtains a list including members of a cooperative group in which terminals receive a service with the same beam as a first terminal's beam, the first terminal informs a second terminal, corresponding to a member of the list, of communication link failure when the failure occurs, and requests a cooperative service. After that, the first terminal receives information on the service from a base station through the second terminal.
Timing advance indication from base station for a beam during handover
A method may include sending, by a base station to a wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) message indicating a handover to a cell. The RRC message can indicate a first timing advance of a first beam of the cell and a second timing advance of a second beam of the cell. The first timing advance and the second timing advance can be provided for beam selection by the wireless device for transmission, via a selected beam of the first beam or the second beam, transport blocks using one of the first timing advance or the second timing advance corresponding to the selected beam.
TERMINAL APPARATUS, SECONDARY BASE STATION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
In a communication system with redundant paths which can ensure the reliability and maintain time-sensitive communications (TSC), a first host and a second host communicate through a plurality of communication paths. In the event of a past or current communication failure in any of the plurality of communication paths, mobility of communication terminals in communication paths other than the any of the plurality of communication paths is restricted.
Communication method and apparatus, and readable storage medium
A communication method includes: receiving, by a network device, first information sent by a terminal device: where the first information includes capability information of the terminal device and uplink sounding reference signal (SRS) antenna switch requirement information of the terminal device, the capability information of the terminal device is used for indicating antenna switch capability supported by the terminal device, and the SRS antenna switch requirement information is used for indicating requirement for terminal device to perform SRS antenna switch.
Beamforming handover messaging in a wireless network
A wireless device may support a plurality of channel state information (CSI) processes. The wireless device may send an indication of a number of supported CSI processes to a first base station. The first base station may send to the wireless device a handover command, instructing the wireless device to handover to a second base station. The handover command may comprise configuration parameters for CSI processes associated with the second base station. The configuration parameters may be based on the number of CSI processes supported by the wireless device.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides a communication method and apparatus, to resolve a problem that frequent switching or even data flow interruption may occur when a terminal device performs cell selection or cell reselection. In this application, the terminal device receives first information from a network device, where the first information includes uptilt beam information, and the uptilt beam information indicates that there is an uptilt beam in a cell. The terminal device accesses the cell based on the uptilt beam information.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT REPORTING FOR L1/L2 MOBILITY
A method for a network element, NE, is proposed, which comprises receiving from a user equipment, UE, at least one of a BSR or an uplink MAC-CE; determining to perform an L1 based handover for the UE; and sending an L1 based handover command to the UE. Another method for a UE is proposed, which comprises receiving an L1/L2 mobility configuration; deciding that there is an L1 CSI report to send; determining whether the UE has an UL grant; if it is determined that the UE has an UL grant, the method further comprises: sending at least one of a BSR or an UL MAC-CE to a NE; if it is determined that the UE does not have an UL grant, the method further comprises: sending a dedicated SR to a NE indicating that an L1 CSI report is pending; receiving a scheduling grant from the NE; and sending the L1 CSI report to the NE based on the scheduling grant; and receiving an L1 based handover command from the NE.
Method for enabling fast mobility with beamforming information
Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for facilitating handoff of a User Equipment, engaged in beamforming, by communicating beam information between a first access point (AP) to a second AP. The first AP associated with a serving cell of the UE includes processor circuitry and interface circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to determine that the UE device is expected to associate with the second AP and identify a synchronization signal block (SSB) index associated with the first AP. The processor circuitry is further configured to generate a message that includes the SSB index to enable the second AP to pre-configure downlink and uplink resources for the UE before the UE associates with the second AP. The interface circuitry is coupled to the processor circuitry and configured to communicate the message to the second AP.
