The server provides a first publish-subscribe broker of one or more publish-subscribe brokers forming part of a publish-subscribe broker network. The server connects to the wireless RF access node. A first entity connects via the wireless RF access node to the first publish-subscribe broker using a unicast IP address and thereafter publishes data packets. A second entity connects to the publish-subscribe broker network via any of the one or more publish-subscribe brokers. The server provides packet distribution services via the first publish-subscribe broker for the first entity, the publish-subscribe broker network routes communications from the first entity to the second entity when the second entity is subscribed; and the data packets published by the first entity are routed through the publish-subscribe broker to which the second entity is connected.

COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

A user communications device having active and idle states operates in a cellular communications network in which user communications devices communicate via network communications devices of cells of the network. History data identifying the cells in which the user communications device has been present whilst in the idle state is maintained. This history data is used by the user communications device or by a network communications device to enable adjustment of cell selection/reselection parameters for the user communications device in the active state.

MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ORIGINATING BASE STATION, CANDIDATE BASE STATION, AND MOBILE TERMINAL

A mobile communication system, which changes a communication partner of a mobile terminal from an originating base station to a destination base station, wherein a request message requesting to become a candidate is transmitted to a plurality of candidate base stations, which are potential destination base stations, from the originating base station, a response message responding to the request message is transmitted from the plurality of candidate base stations to the originating base station, and information of the candidate base stations is transmitted from the originating base station to the mobile terminal.

COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE, INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT, WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK AND METHODS

A method is performed in a first infrastructure equipment for a handover of a wireless device from the first infrastructure equipment as a source to a second infrastructure equipment as a target. The method comprises maintaining a mapping between a plurality of packet bearers and a data radio bearer for the wireless device, each of the plurality of packet bearers being configured to provide a specified quality of service, determining that the wireless device should handover from the first infrastructure equipment to the second infrastructure equipment, determining that the second infrastructure equipment does not support the mapping of the plurality of packet bearers to the data radio bearer, and providing an indication of a mapping of the plurality of packet bearers for the second infrastructure equipment after handover to one of a core network equipment and the second infrastructure equipment.

METHOD OF INFORMING SERVING CELL OF UPLINK INTERFERENCE AT NEIGHBOR CELL CAUSED BY UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE
20230362771 · 2023-11-09 ·

A neighboring cell determines that uplink interference from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) exceeds a first threshold at the neighboring cell. The neighboring cell transmits an uplink interference indicator to the UAV. In some examples, the UAV informs its serving cell of the uplink interference experienced by the neighboring cell. The serving cell can utilize information received from the UAV to make handover decisions or scheduling decisions for the UAV that caused the uplink interference. In other examples, the UAV can temporarily refrain from transmitting on at least some of its uplink resources or utilize different uplink resources for uplink data transmissions. In still other examples, the UAV can utilize downlink measurements to select which neighboring base station System Information Block messages should be monitored for an uplink interference indicator.

RADIO ACCESS NETWORK INTELLIGENT CONTROLLER (RIC) BASED RADIO RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR NON-STANDALONE AND STANDALONE USERS

A method is provided for interchangeably allocating radio resources between a non-standalone (NSA) network and a standalone (SA) network in an overlapping area of coverage. The method may include monitoring utilization of radio resources of the SA network and the radio resources of the NSA network by a radio access network (RAN) intelligent controller (RIC). The method may also include determining that utilization of radio resources in one of the SA network or the NSA network is high by the RIC while utilization of radio resources in the other of the SA network or the NSA network having excess capacity. The method may also include reallocating radio resources from the one of the SA network or the NSA network having high radio resource utilization to the other of the SA network or the NSA network has excess capacity by the RIC.

STATE CONTROL METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

The present disclosure relates to a state control method and an electronic device. The method includes: in response to determining a terminal in a connected state needs to save power, sending a signaling to the terminal, where the signaling is used to instruct the terminal to change a communication state with a base station. In the present disclosure, a terminal which needs to save power and is in a connected state may be instructed by a signaling to change from a connected state to a non-connected state and change from a first radio access technology currently in use to a second radio access technology.

Apparatus and method for providing handover support information in mobile communication system

An apparatus and method for providing handover support information in a mobile communication system are provided. A method for an Base Station (BS) to provide information necessary for measurement report trigger performance to a Mobile Station (MS) after the MS determines neighboring BSs in a mobile communication system includes, in a case where the MS is an active mode MS, providing a Time To Trigger (TTT) independently by a specific neighboring BS to the active mode MS and, in a case where the MS is an idle mode MS, providing a reselection time period (Treselection) independently by the specific neighboring BS to the idle mode MS.

Data transmission method, base station, and terminal equipment

The embodiments of the invention disclose a data transmission method comprising: a base station receives terminal information transmitted by terminal equipment; the base station determines, according to the terminal information, that the terminal equipment is able to communicate with the base station via a first relay node; and the base station transmits to the terminal equipment a first notification message to, instruct the terminal equipment to communicate with the base station via the first relay node. In the embodiment of the invention, the base station can instruct the terminal equipment to switch from a cellular link to a sidelink passing through the first relay node, thereby ensuring communication quality between the terminal equipment and the base station.
