HANDOVER METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A handover method and a communication apparatus. A terminal device receives a first message, where the first message includes information about N candidate cells, the N candidate cells include N1 candidate cells and N2 candidate cells, the N1 candidate cells include a cell for which no conditional handover CHO execution condition information is configured, the N2 candidate cells include a cell for which the CHO execution condition information is configured, N and N2 are integers greater than 1 or equal to 1, and N1 is an integer greater than 0 or equal to 0. In a process of attempting to hand over from the source cell to the target cell, the terminal device maintains an RRC connection and/or data transmission with the source cell. Therefore, handover reliability is improved, a handover latency is reduced, and overall system performance is improved.
RE-ESTABLISHMENT METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A re-establishment method includes: If a link failure occurs in a handover procedure of a terminal device, the terminal device releases configuration information used in a source cell. The terminal device further determines a re-establishment request message based on configuration information used in the target cell, and sends the re-establishment request message in a re-establishment cell. A method for selecting a re-establishment cell and releasing configuration information when a link failure occurs in a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) handover procedure of the terminal device reduces memory consumption of the terminal device.
DUAL ACTIVE PROTOCOL STACK HANDOVER REPORTS
The present disclosure relates generally to communications, and more particularly to methods, computer program products, wireless devices and related nodes for Dual Active Protocol Stack (DAPS) handover reports. In one example embodiment, a method is performed by a wireless device. A DAPS handover is performed. Also, a type of handover report is determined. Furthermore, a handover report of the determined type is compiled and optionally stored. Still further, the handover report is transmitted to a network node operating as an access node.

TERMINAL APPARATUS, BASE STATION APPARATUS, AND METHOD
A terminal apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive, from the base station apparatus, an RRC reconfiguration message including a DRB configuration, and a processing unit, wherein the processing unit performs, based on inclusion of a first parameter in the DRB configuration, configuration of a PDCP entity of a DRB corresponding to the DRB configuration, the configuration being related to a DAPS handover.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING HANDOVER IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a method and device for performing handover in a wireless communication system. An operating method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system may include: receiving, from a source base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message indicating handover, the RRC reconfiguration message including data radio bearer (DRB) configuration information; in case that the DRB configuration information includes an indicator indicating a configuration of a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) for at least one DRB, generating a multimedia access control (MAC) entity for a target base station; configuring the MAC entity for the target base station based on MAC configuration information included in the RRC reconfiguration message indicating the handover; suspending a signaling radio bearer (SRB) for the source base station; and establishing or configuring a SRB for the target base station.
SWITCHING PROCESSING METHOD, TERMINAL DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are a switching processing method, a terminal device and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: when a terminal device successfully randomly accesses a target network device in the process of executing a first type of switching, the terminal device switches uplink data transmission to the target network device, and when a preset condition is met, the terminal device executes one of the following processings: releasing the connection with a source network device; not triggering the re-establishment of the connection with the source network device; and not triggering a random access process with the source network device.
COMMON CONTROL PLANE
A wide area network (WAN) communication framework having a common control plane and method for using the same are disclosed. In some embodiments, the wide area network (WAN) communication framework comprises: a plurality of management systems, each for controlling access to and traffic for one of a plurality of WANs that include satellite and terrestrial communication networks; a remote unit capable of communicably coupling to the plurality of WANs; and a master network management system (MNMS). The MNMS is communicably coupled to the plurality of management systems and coupled to the remote unit to aggregate control information from the plurality of management systems and the remote unit to determine which WANs of the plurality of WANs for the remote unit to use, wherein the MNMS uses a common control plane communicably coupled to the remote unit for control and routing of control traffic, including information indicating which WANs of the plurality of WANs to which the remote terminal can connect, the common control plane including a single, continuous control channel to which the remote terminal is connectable simultaneously with a connection to a WAN of the plurality of WANs.
