The present invention relates to handling data transfer during handover, whereby a terminal device is initially connected to a serving access node and a handover is performed to connect the terminal device to a target access node. The improved handling of data transfer is achieved by upon making a handover decision, performing data rerouting to the target access node while continuing to exchange data between the terminal device and the serving access node, and stopping the data exchange between the terminal device and the serving access node in response to an indicator indicating that the target access node is ready to proceed with the handover.

An electronic apparatus in a wireless communications system, and a mobility measurement method. The electronic apparatus includes a communications device and a mobility measurement device. The communication device is configured to separately perform dual-connection communication with two connection nodes by different carriers. The mobility measurement device is configured to perform mobility measurement, for determining a connection switching mode, on the connection nodes in the dual connections in a case in which connection service quality of at least one of the current dual connection nodes is lower than a preset level. The mobility measurement device is further configured to determine a reporting mode of a mobility measurement result according to the measurement condition of at least one of the current dual connection nodes.

A plurality of networking nodes provides a wireless network fabric that serves at least two devices. Each networking node stores global communication topology information for the wireless network fabric. One of the networking nodes performs global fabric management functions to maintain a communication channel among the at least two devices, and is responsive to a triggering event to identify a next global fabric manager from the other networking nodes. Upon detection of an attack, the global fabric management responsibilities migrate from the networking node to the next global fabric manager while maintaining connectivity between the at least two devices.

A method for operating a femtocell in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: triggering the switching from the operation mode for providing a service to closed subscriber group (CSG) terminals which belong to a specific terminal group and to non-CSG terminals which do not belong to the specific terminal group, to the operation mode for providing the service only to said CSG terminals; and commanding said non-CSG terminals to change the operation mode, and carrying out a handover. The method of the present invention improves efficiency of femtocell operation, and reduces restrictions on terminals disposed in the vicinity of the femtocell. The method of the present invention can utilize the unused frequency range of the femtocell, thereby providing a service with a high data ratio.

A method and an apparatus for controlling a waiting time related to determination of a radio link failure in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving a message from a network, if a first timer for determination of the radio link failure is running and the message includes timer information related to the waiting time, starting a second timer related to the waiting time based on the timer information, and if the second timer expires before expiration of the first timer, determining a channel situation of a serving cell as a situation of the radio link failure.
COMMUNICATION METHOD, USER TERMINAL AND PROCESSOR
In a communication method, a user equipment receives system information broadcast from a current serving cell of the user equipment and indicating frequencies different from a frequency of the current serving cell, the user equipment receives a paging signal from the current serving cell that is different from the system information and includes a request message requesting the user equipment to perform frequency redistribution in which the user equipment selects a target frequency, and performs the frequency redistribution in response to receiving the paging signal including the request message. Performing the frequency redistribution comprises the user equipment measuring quality of the frequencies included in the system information received from the current serving cell in response to receiving the paging signal including the request message, and selecting the target frequency based on a result of the measuring. The user equipment reselects a serving cell on the selected target frequency.
