Embodiments of the present application are directed to a method and apparatus for reporting time information of conditional handover (CHO). In an embodiment of the present application, the method includes: receiving configuration information on CHO, and transmitting time information of CHO in response to at least one failure that occurs during a CHO procedure.

A network access guide method for a terminal to access a first network, an apparatus, and an electronic device are provided. The network access guide method includes: sending assistance information to an access network side device of a second network by a core network functional entity of the second network, where the assistance information is used to instruct the terminal access the first network.

A cell measurement method. According to the method, a terminal device determines that a first cell as a camped cell of the terminal device; and then determines that the terminal device is in a target environment. The terminal device further obtains a signal strength of the first cell and performs a measurement on a second cell when the signal strength of the first cell is less than a first threshold and greater than a second threshold. The second cell determined by the terminal device based on the target environment. The terminal device switches the camped cell of the terminal device from the first cell to the second cell when a measurement result of the second cell meets a handover condition.

A cell measurement method. According to the method, a terminal device determines that a first cell as a camped cell of the terminal device; and then determines that the terminal device is in a target environment. The terminal device further obtains a signal strength of the first cell and performs a measurement on a second cell when the signal strength of the first cell is less than a first threshold and greater than a second threshold. The second cell determined by the terminal device based on the target environment. The terminal device switches the camped cell of the terminal device from the first cell to the second cell when a measurement result of the second cell meets a handover condition.

A method for transmitting a truncated beam failure recovery (BFR) medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises steps of generating a truncated BFR MAC CE while not exceeding an available grant size upon detecting beam failures on a plurality of serving cells; and transmitting the truncated BFR MAC CE to the network, wherein generating the BFR MAC CE comprises: based on beam failure being detected on a special cell (SpCell) among the plurality of serving cells, including BFR information for SpCell among the plurality of serving cells into the truncated beam failure MAC CE firstly; and based on beam failure being detected on at least one SCell among the plurality of serving cells, including first BFR information for each of the at least one secondary cell (SCell) into the truncated beam failure MAC CE in ascending order of a serving cell index, and including second BFR information for each of the at least one SCell into the truncated beam failure MAC CE in ascending order of the serving cell index.

An object is to provide alternative communication means that does not require establishment of a connection. A communication control device according to the present technology includes: a first communication unit that performs communication by a device designation method that performs signal communication while designating a communication target device; a second communication unit that performs communication by a broadcasting method that performs signal communication without designating the communication target device; and a switching control unit that, when the first communication unit is performing communication with the communication target device, switches a communication system from the device designation method by the first communication unit to the broadcasting method by the second communication unit in accordance with a communication condition of the first communication unit such that the communication with the communication target device is continuously performed by the second communication unit.

An object is to provide alternative communication means that does not require establishment of a connection. A communication control device according to the present technology includes: a first communication unit that performs communication by a device designation method that performs signal communication while designating a communication target device; a second communication unit that performs communication by a broadcasting method that performs signal communication without designating the communication target device; and a switching control unit that, when the first communication unit is performing communication with the communication target device, switches a communication system from the device designation method by the first communication unit to the broadcasting method by the second communication unit in accordance with a communication condition of the first communication unit such that the communication with the communication target device is continuously performed by the second communication unit.

This application provides a communication method and apparatus. In an example method, when a first access network device performs unsuccessful listen before talk (LBT) for channel detection on an unlicensed channel, the first access network device sends first indication information to a second access network device. The first indication information indicates that the first access network device performs unsuccessful LBT for channel detection on the unlicensed channel.

A communication management system (such as hardware and/or executed software) receives performance information indicating wireless connectivity performance between a communication device and a set of candidate wireless access points. The communication device is initially in communication with a first wireless access point over a wireless link. Based on the performance information, the communication management system selects a candidate wireless access point from the set in which to performance a handoff. The communication management hardware the notifies the communication device to handoff the wireless link from the first wireless access point to the selected candidate wireless access point.

A mobile station in a wireless communication network. The mobile station includes a radio communication that transmits an access request message to a base station via a first communication resource, and receives a timing adjustment in response to the access request message from the base station. The mobile station also includes an adjustment value storage unit that stores the timing adjustment, and a control unit that adjusts access timing corresponding to a second communication resource based on the timing adjustment value stored in the adjustment value storage unit. The radio communication unit then communicates with the base station via the first communication resource and the second communication resource.
