20230022773 · 2023-01-26 ·

The present disclosure provides methods for link selection in a telecommunication system, a user equipment, a network node, and a telecommunication system. The method comprises: communicating a probing message with a second UE via a relay link therebetween, both of the UEs being served by a same network node; determining whether uplink (UL) data is to be transmitted to the network node via the relay link or via an access link between the UE and the network node at least partially based on the link quality of the relay link, which is determined at least partially based on the probing message, and the link quality of the access link, or based on an indication from the network node; and transmitting the UL data via the determined one of the relay link and the access link.

INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD, USER EQUIPMENT AND NETWORK DEVICE

The present disclosure provides an information transmission method, a UE and a network device, so as to solve the problem that the data transmission reliability is low when the UE accesses a network through a relay. The information transmission method includes transmitting duplicated data to a network device through one of: N relays, where N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; or an air interface between the UE and the network device as well as M relays, where M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1.

RELAY UE DETERMINING METHOD AND DEVICE

A relay User Equipment (UE) determining method and a device are provided. The relay UE determining method includes: obtaining relay-related information corresponding to each candidate UE in at least one candidate UE; and performing relay UE selection or relay UE reselection according to the relay-related information corresponding to each candidate UE.

SERVICE PROCESSING METHOD FOR PROXIMITY SERVICE, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM

This application discloses a service processing method for a proximity service, a device, and a system, and relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, to resolve a problem such as inappropriate charging caused because a network side does not perform, in proximity service (ProSe) communication, service supervision or service management on a data packet transmitted by remote user equipment (UE) via relay UE. In this application, a first network element (for example, an access and mobility management function AMF network element or a session management function SMF network element) may obtain, based on relay information that is received from the remote UE and that includes a relay service code or first indication information indicating that the remote UE is to transmit a service in relay mode, policy configuration information for detecting or monitoring service data forwarded by the relay UE.

METHOD FOR REMOTE TERMINAL CONNECTION MANAGEMENT, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK-SIDE DEVICE

A method for remote terminal connection management, a terminal, and a network-side device, and relate to the field of communications technologies. The method for remote terminal connection management includes: sending a first relay request to a network-side device, where the first relay request is used to request the network-side device to perform relay function-related configuration; and receiving first configuration information sent by the network-side device, where the first configuration information includes configuration information of a first Uu RLC bearer, and the first Uu RLC bearer is used to transmit Uu signaling of a remote terminal.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION PROCESS DEVICE, AND DEVICE ADDITION METHOD

A communication system includes: a first node; and a second node that is located at a lower level of the first node and connected to the first node. The second node includes a transmitter that transmits, when the second node is connected to the first node, function identification information for identifying functions installed in the second node, and the first node includes a receiver that receives the function identification information transmitted from the second node, and a processor that is connected to the receiver. The processor executes a process including deciding, based on the function identification information, a function to be enabled or disabled out of the functions installed in the second node, and selecting at least a test item used for verifying the function that is decided to be enabled.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for sidelink communications. In a method for communications, a first terminal device receives information about an identity related to a relay feature of at least one second terminal device via a sidelink channel. The first terminal device determines a relay terminal device of the first terminal device based on the information about the identity. Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a more flexible and feasible communication mechanism for relay discovery and selection without requirements for a specific resource pool for sidelink discovery or performing cyclic redundancy check on resources of the sidelink channel. The identity dedicated to the relay feature can not only be used to distinguish different terminal devices but also enable the terminal device to determine whether they are to be discovered as a candidate relay terminal device by the remote terminal device, and thereby enhancing the relay discovery and selection procedure.
