20220418037 · 2022-12-29 ·

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating identifier-based transport types of a GNLP are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a transmitting UE includes receiving a message based on a GNLP, the message including a GNLP header. The example method also includes populating the GNLP header to indicate that the message is associated with a single-hop transport type, the single-hop transport type including a unicast message, a groupcast message, or a broadcast message. The example method also includes transmitting the message via sidelink to a receiving UE. An example method for wireless communication at a receiving UE includes receiving, from a transmitting UE, a message via sidelink, the message based on a GNLP and including a GNLP header. The example method also includes using the GNLP header to determine that the message is associated with a single-hop transport type.

Automatically communicating user device data to a transaction computing system

Automatically communicating information related to a user computing device from a central computing system to a transaction computing system prior to initiation of a transaction between the user computing device and the transaction computing system comprises a digital wallet application and a central computing system. A digital wallet application receives a beacon signal from a transaction computing system indicating the specific identification of the terminal with which the user intends to conduct a transaction. The user computing device communicates the terminal identification to the central computing system. The central computing system communicates customer data, such as loyalty information and offers, to the transaction computing system associated with the terminal. The transaction computing system communicates the customer data to the terminal. When the user taps the user computing device to initiate the transaction, the terminal provides any benefits associated with the customer data.

Apparatus and method for multi-link communications

Embodiments of an apparatus and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method of multi-link communications involves at a first multi-link device, generating a management frame having reduced neighbor report (RNR) information related to the first multi-link device, and at the first multi-link device, transmitting the management frame having one of the RNR information and a multi-link element (ML IE) or both the RNR information and the ML IE to a second multi-link device.

Method for accessing access point by station device, device, and system

A method for accessing an access point by a station device, a device, and a system. A station device selects a master access point from multiple access points according to channel quality and accesses the master access point, and sends information about remaining access points to the master access point, so that the master access point selects a slave access point according to the information about the remaining access points.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMISSION OF BUFFERED DOWNLINK DATA TRAME UNDER MULTI-CONNECTION
20220394555 · 2022-12-08 ·

A method for indicating transmission of a buffered downlink data frame under multi-connection. An access point generates a message frame including first information and second information, and sends the message frame to a station. The first information is configured to indicate that a downlink data frame of the station is buffered at the access point, and the second information is configured to indicate the station to receive the downlink data frame buffered by the access point under multi-connection. A method for receiving a buffered downlink data frame under multi-connection is also disclosed.

System and method for restricting access to a mobile communications network
11523327 · 2022-12-06 · ·

There is described a system for restricting access to a mobile communications network for mobile communication devices within a restricted area. The system includes at least one transmitter operable to transmit a beacon signal for reception by mobile communication devices within the restricted area and an access control entity, communicable with the mobile communication device via a base station. The access control entity instructs a mobile communication device to perform at least one measurement of the beacon signal from each transmitter and then to provide measurement data corresponding to the performed measurement to the access control entity. The access control entity then analyses the measurement data provided by the mobile communication device and based on that analysis decides whether or not to provide the mobile communication device with access to a service of the mobile communications network.

Wireless communication method using enhanced distributed channel access, and wireless communication terminal using same

Provided is a wireless communication terminal that communicates wirelessly. The wireless communication terminal includes a transceiver and a processor for processing a radio signal received through the transceiver or a radio signal to be transmitted through the transceiver. The processor accesses a channel according to according to a priority of data to be transmitted to the base communication terminal by the wireless communication terminal.

Communication apparatus, control method of communication apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium

A communication apparatus receives a radio frame complying with an IEEE802.11 series standard, acquires information of a WUR (Wake-up Radio) Discovery element included in the received frame, and decides, based on the information of the WUR Discovery element, a WUR channel used to wait for a WUR Discovery frame.

RESOLVING BEACON TRANSMISSION AND RECEIPT CONFLICTS IN MESH NETWORK NODES

One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for performing time synchronization within a network. The technique includes detecting a first scheduling conflict between a first transmission time associated with a first periodic beacon from a first node in the network and a first listening window associated with receiving a second periodic beacon from a second node in the network. The technique also includes determining a first alternate transmission time for the second periodic beacon based on a second transmission time associated with the second periodic beacon and a position of the second node in the network and calculating a second listening window associated with transmission of the second periodic beacon from the second node at the first alternate transmission time. The technique further includes listening for the second periodic beacon during the second listening window.

System and methods for determining location of pop displays with wireless beacons using mobile applications on mobile devices
11507973 · 2022-11-22 · ·

Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A wireless signal from a POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide the unique identifier in the wireless signal and a retail location of the mobile device to a remote server. The retail location of the mobile device may he provided by a mobile application (e.g., a retailer app) on the mobile device. The remote server may determine the retail location of the POP display by associating the retail location of the mobile device with the wireless beacon.
