NETWORK MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, NETWORK MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided a network management apparatus comprising a processor. In a network constituted by a plurality of vehicles and a plurality of mobile terminals having wireless communication functions, a processor detects a vehicle and a mobile terminal which can be used as a next hop of a predetermined vehicle among the plurality of vehicles. The next hop is for predetermined communication originating from or relayed by the predetermined vehicle. When a vehicle which can be used as the next hop is detected, the processor preferentially selects the vehicle that has been detected as the next hop. When a vehicle which can be used as the next hop is not detected and a mobile terminal which can be used as the next hop is detected, the processor selects the mobile terminal that has been detected as the next hop.
Systematic neighbor detection in shared media computer networks
In one embodiment, a particular node in a shared media computer network may determine a set of network parameters for the network, and a timing of super-frames in the network, each super-frame having one or more frames, each frame divided into a plurality of timeslots. In addition, the particular node computes a discovery scheduling function using its own identification to determine in which particular timeslot of the frames to transmit a network discovery packet. Accordingly, the particular node may transmit the network discovery packet in the particular timeslot of the frames. In an additional or alternative embodiment, the particular node may receive a network discovery request from a requesting node. In response, the particular node determines whether it is free to reply to the network discovery request based on parameters in the network discovery request, and if free to reply, may transmit a network discovery packet to the requesting node.
Probe request for relay discovery within single user, multiple user, multiple access, and/or MIMO wireless communications
A relay wireless communication device is discovered using probe request. A source device that intends to transmit one or more frames to a destination device transmits the probe request to request a probe response from one or more potential relay devices. A relay device transmits a probe response to the source device when the relay device may operate to forward the one or more frames from the source device to the destination device. The relay device employs one or more considerations to determine its eligibility to serve as relay for the source and destination devices. The source device selects one of the potential relay devices based on their provided probe responses. The source device may select an optimal relay device based upon two or more received probe responses.
Multiple topology routing architecture in computer networks
In a multiple interface, low power and lossy network comprising a plurality of nodes, a low transmission power and medium transmission power topology are defined for the network and a channel-hopping schedule is defined for the devices operating in each topology. A sender determines that data is capable of being transmitted via a link on the low transmission power topology. The sender determines the transmission parameters for the transmission of the data over the link on the low transmission power topology and determines a low transmission power channel for transmission of the data. The sender transmits the determined channel and the transmission parameters to the receiver. The sender transmits the data via the determined channel in the low transmission power topology.
User equipment tracing method and system, access device, and access controller
Embodiments of the present invention provide a user equipment tracing method and system, an access device, and an access controller. The method includes: sending, by an access device, a query request message to an access controller, where the query request message includes a user equipment identifier, so that the access controller queries a tracing task list according to the user equipment identifier, determines that the tracing task list includes the user equipment identifier, and sends a query response message to the access device, where the query response message includes a tracing identifier and/or the user equipment identifier; and receiving, by the access device, the query response message sent by the access controller, and if it is determined that the query response message includes the tracing identifier, performing a signaling tracing operation on the user equipment.
Distributed arbitration of time contention in TSCH networks
In one embodiment, a parent node in a network observes time slot usage of a channel hopping schedule by one or more child nodes of the parent node to communicate with the parent node. The parent node also identifies high priority traffic from a particular child node. The parent node detects time contention for the high priority traffic based on an indication that at least a portion of the traffic has been rerouted by a particular child node to a different parent node. In response to detecting the time contention, the parent node adjusts a communication strategy used by the one or more child nodes.
Apparatus, system and method of communicating in a neighbor awareness networking (NAN) group
Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of communicating in a data path group. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN) device to communicate during one or more Discovery Windows (DW) of a NAN cluster; and to communicate with one or more NAN devices of at least one data path group having a data path topology according to a scheduling scheme corresponding to the data path topology, the data path group including two or more NAN devices of the NAN cluster.
METHOD FOR AFFILIATING A CLUSTER OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES COMMUNICATING VIA A WIRELESS NETWORK, ASSOCIATED ELECTRONIC DEVICE IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD AND SYSTEM
The invention concerns a wireless communication network that is particularly innovative and robust when said network, comprising a plurality of nodes, has a dynamic topology. A method implemented by a communicating electronic device acting as a free node of said network can request, on demand, a procedure for affiliation with a second device that is a member of a cluster. Affiliated with said cluster, a device implementing said method can communicate with a third device acting as cluster head in the same way as a member of said cluster. Such an invention makes it possible, in particular, to operate a traceability system for containers cooperating respectively with such devices on a storage area or a transport platform.
