COMMUNICATION NETWORK WITH CONTROL PLANE NETWORK
20230136683 · 2023-05-04 ·

A communication network includes nodes communicating over a current generation network, such as 5G and some, or all of the nodes are also capable of communicating over a previous generation network, such as 4G for instance. A third node receives a first signal from a first node over the current generation network, a second signal that is a retransmission of the first signal from a second node over the current generation network, and network dimensional parameters from the first node and/or the second node over the previous generation network. The network dimensional parameters enable the third node to determine precise locations of the first node and the second node. Using a function of the network dimensional parameters, the third node correlates the first signal and the second signal to generate a simplified signal therefrom. A secondary wireless mesh acts as an overlay control plane via a non-shared non-virtualized external controller.

TECHNIQUES FOR OPERATING A DISTRIBUTED COMMUNICATION NETWORK
20170374516 · 2017-12-28 · ·

A distributed network of communication nodes is organized in a hierarchy of clusters. Upon deployment, nodes exchange messages to form an upper layer cluster and multiple lower layer clusters. Each lower layer cluster may be in communication with one upper layer cluster node, which may function to communicate messages to/from the nodes in the lower layer cluster to the upper layer nodes. Cluster formations may be achieved by exchanging messages among member nodes. The communication between nodes during the operation of the distributed network is based on a consensus protocol such as a modified Paxos protocol, as described herein.

POSITIONING ROUTERS OF A NETWORK AROUND NOISE SOURCES

A load control system may include control devices configured to communicate via a network. The network may include router devices (e.g., a leader device and other router devices) for enabling communication of messages throughout the network. Boundary router devices may be assigned to assist with communications around a noise source. The boundary router devices may be identified as being outside of a first range from the noise source and within a second range from the noise source. Control device within the first range that are closer to the noise source may be assigned as end devices. The boundary router devices that are outside of the first range may be close enough to the end devices within the first range to assist the end devices with communication around the noise source.

A transmitter is configured to convey N bits of information and L bits of information, for a total of N+L bits of information, to a destination device via an auxiliary device. The transmitter is configured to select, from a plurality of auxiliary devices that are respectively associated with different possible states of the L bits of information, an auxiliary device that is associated with a state of the L bits of information to be conveyed. L may be ≥1. The transmitter is also configured to convey the N+L bits of information from the transmitter to the destination device via the selected auxiliary device, without the transmitter transmitting any of the L bits of information to the destination device or the selected auxiliary device, by transmitting a signal to the selected auxiliary device. This signal comprises the N bits of information. N may be ≥0.

ENABLING MULTI-CLUSTER TRANSMISSIONS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine to use multi-cluster communications in a vehicle based communication network. The UE may identify a configuration parameter associated with the multi-cluster communications. The UE may select a cluster resource from a set of available cluster resources based on the configuration parameter. The cluster resource may include one or more clusters used for multi-cluster transmissions in the vehicle based communication network. The UE may transmit an indication of the selected cluster resource to a wireless node of the vehicle based communication network, for example, to another UE. The UE may transmit the multi-cluster transmission on the selected cluster resource.
