WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND NETWORK DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a wireless communication method, a terminal device, and a network device, which are applied in a field of communication technology. The embodiments of the present disclosure include: receiving a first indication information sent by a network device, where the first indication information is used to prevent a terminal device from an access attempt or camping, and the first indication information includes at least one of following information: wait time information, applicable range information, and a common use indication.
Traffic steering in a heterogeneous network
Techniques for traffic steering are disclosed. A first signal characteristic of a first connection between an electronic device and a first wireless communications network is determined. A second signal characteristic of a second connection between the electronic device and a second wireless communications network is also determined. Based on the first signal characteristic and the second signal characteristic, the electronic device is prevented from attempting to establish the second connection until one or more establishment criteria are met.

Multi-connectivity restriction for services demanding single-path or single access
A method for restricting multi-connectivity functionality of a user equipment (UE) includes: storing a mapping table on a memory of the UE, wherein the mapping table provides assignment information about a respective single access mode assigned to a service requestable by the UE, wherein the respective single access mode is one of multiple access modes; receiving service information about a requested service via a network interface of the UE; comparing, by a process of the UE, the service information to entries of the mapping table, and selecting a single access mode assigned to the requested service; wherein the multi-connectivity functionality of the UE is restricted by: a bypass entity redirecting data traffic associated with the requested service directly to the selected single access mode; or a multipath scheduler scheduling data traffic associated with the requested service to a communication link that corresponds to the selected single access mode.

Managing connection retries due to access class barring
In some implementations, a method includes receiving a connection request from a user application. A service request is sent to a radio resource control (RRC) module. An indication of failure of or a rejection to the service request due to access class barring is received from the RRC module. A retry of the user application connection request is prevented until expiration of an access-class-barring timer of the RRC module that resulted in the access class barring.

METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY ENABLING ACCESS POINT FUNCTION AND RELAY FUNCTION, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Embodiments of this application relate to the field of terminal technologies and disclose a method for automatically enabling an access point function and a relay function, and an electronic device. After an electronic device is powered on, if the electronic device is connected to a wired network and does not use the network within preset duration, an AP mode is enabled; or if the electronic device is connected to a wireless network and does not use the network within preset duration, a repeater mode is enabled. The AP function and the relay function can be automatically enabled on the electronic device such as a personal computer or a smart screen, and an existing device of a consumer can be set as an AP or a repeater. The consumer does not need to buy a dedicated AP or repeater. This improves Wi-Fi use experience of the consumer.

Access network collective admission control
A method for congestion mitigation via admission control in a shared-backhaul telecommunications network is disclosed, comprising: assessing a congestion state in a multi-node radio access network having a shared backhaul connection, the congestion state based on congestion of the shared backhaul connection; retrieving an admission control policy based on the congestion state of the shared backhaul connection; performing a policy action of the admission control policy at a first base station acting as a gateway for the multi-node radio access network with respect to the shared backhaul connection; and sending the admission control policy to other nodes in the multi-node radio access network, thereby causing the other nodes to perform the policy action, wherein the policy action is denying a request from a user equipment to attach to the radio access network.
