Methods and systems for wireless communication are described. A computing device may receive data via a network. The computing device may modify one or more settings associated with a network based on the data.

RELATIVE POWER SETTING BETWEEN DIFFERENT CELLS IN DUAL CONNECTIVITY OR CARRIER AGGREGATION

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, signaling that indicates a relative power difference between a first cell and a second cell. The UE may apply the relative power difference in a transmission occasion that includes at least a first uplink transmission on the first cell and a second uplink transmission on the second cell, wherein applying the relative power difference causes the first uplink transmission on the first cell to be transmitted at a lower power level than the second uplink transmission on the second cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

Vehicle to vehicle safety messaging congestion control for platooning vehicles

Various embodiments include methods that may be implementing in a computing system within vehicles for supporting communicating proxy basic safety communications while operating within a platoon of vehicles to control congestion on frequencies used for basic safety communications. In various embodiments, while a vehicle is operating as a designated platoon vehicle, the computing system may generate a proxy basic safety communication including position and dimension information of the platoon as a whole, and broadcast the proxy basic safety communication on behalf of vehicles in the platoon. The proxy basic safety communication may include positions of certain vehicles within and dimensions of the platoon. While in a platoon but not operating as the designated platoon vehicle, the computing system may not broadcast basic safety communications or broadcast such communications at low power.

Power control for repeated uplink transmissions

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be scheduled to send uplink data to a base station using a particular transmission length provided by the base station. The UE may send multiple repetitions of the uplink data to the base station using transmissions that have varying lengths. The UE may determine a transmit power based on the length provided by the base station and use that transmit power for transmitting the repetitions, regardless of the actual lengths of the repetitions.

Method and power control unit for supplying electric power to a radio unit

A method and power control unit for supplying electric power to a first radio unit of a network node in a wireless network. The power control unit obtains a scheduled power demand related to an amount of electric power required in the first radio unit for transmissions scheduled in an imminent time interval such as a resource block or subframe. Then, electric power is supplied to the first radio unit from a power supply unit if the power demand does not exceed a power threshold, or from the power supply unit and a supplementary power source if the power demand exceeds the power threshold. The supplementary power source may comprise a battery that can be connected or disconnected for successive time intervals depending on the scheduled power demand which may fluctuate greatly depending on the first radio unit's transmissions.

TRANSMIT POWER CONTROL FOR SIDELINK GROUPS

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support controlling transmit power of one or more groups of user equipment (UE) sidelinks using a single sidelink control transmission of group transmit power control (TPC) information. A first UE may transmit group TPC information to one or more groups of UEs, such as by including the group TPC information in sidelink control information (SCI). The group TPC information may include a group TPC indicator and one or more TPC messages for providing one or more group TPC commands with respect to groups of sidelinks. The group TPC commands may provide for power control with respect to a respective group of UEs for one or more channels. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Uplink channel coverage configuration

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control message including a first parameter and a second parameter. The first parameter may identify a first uplink control channel resource set for a first type of UE. The second parameter may identify a second uplink control channel resource set for a second type of UE. In some cases, a UE may receive the control message before receiving configuration information identifying a uplink control channel resource configuration. In some cases, a UE may optionally select an uplink control channel resource set based at least in part on the control message and a type of the UE. Also, a UE may transmit on an uplink using a communication configuration associated with the selected uplink control channel resource set. Numerous other aspects are provided.

TECHNIQUES FOR UPLINK POWER CONTROL

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may indicate to a UE a first set of uplink power control parameters associated with half-duplex communications and a second set of uplink power control parameters associated with full-duplex communications. Alternatively, the base station may indicate the first set of uplink power control parameters and a set of power offsets associated with full-duplex communications. The base station may indicate a first set of resources associated with the first set of uplink power control parameters and a second set of resources associated with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets. In response, the UE may transmit one or more uplink messages over one or more resources of the second set of resources in accordance with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets.
