A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes configuring a plurality of timing advances (TAs) for a plurality of uplink transmissions using a plurality of antennas. The UE transmits the plurality of uplink transmissions to a base station (BS) using the plurality of antennas based on the plurality of timing advances. A method that may be performed by a BS includes receiving a plurality of uplink transmissions from a UE and transmitting timing information to the UE in a message, the timing information based on when each of the plurality of uplink transmissions was received at the BS.
