User equipment, network node and methods therein for handling preamble transmissions on a random access channel in a radio communications network
The embodiments herein relate to a user equipment (121) and a method performed by the UE (121) for performing preamble transmissions, on a random access channel, to a network node (110). The method comprising: determining (801) a starting subframe for the preamble transmissions based on at least a system frame number (SFN), a number of times (R) the preamble transmissions is to be repeated and a random access channel configuration, and transmitting (802), to the network node (121) the preamble repeatedly starting in the determined starting subframe. The embodiments herein also relate to a network node (110) and a method performed by the network node (110).
Signal transmission power adjustment in a wireless device
Wireless communications are described. A wireless device may be configured to transmit a first signal via a first cell group that may overlap in time with a second signal via a second cell group. The wireless device may adjust a signal transmission power of at least one of the first signal or the second signal. Additionally or alternatively, the wireless device may drop at least one of the first signal or the second signal. Adjusting and/or dropping at least one of the first signal or the second signal may be based on the overlap in time of these signals satisfying a duration threshold and a total power to transmit the first signal and the second signal exceeding a power threshold.
Starting a bandwidth part inactivity timer of an active bandwidth
A wireless device receives configuration parameters comprising a value for a bandwidth part inactivity timer. Downlink control information, indicating a resource assignment, is received on a primary cell. The bandwidth part inactivity timer of an active bandwidth part of the primary cell is started in response to determining that no random access procedure is ongoing on a secondary cell. A switch from the active bandwidth part to a default bandwidth part is made in response to an expiry of the bandwidth part inactivity timer.
Wireless Uplink Resource Allocation
A wireless device may receive configuration parameters of cells comprising a primary cell that is not configured with scheduling request (SR) resources and a secondary cell that is configured with SR resources and that is in a secondary timing advance group (sTAG). A wireless device may determine to perform an SR process. Based on the wireless device not having an uplink data channel resource available in a time interval and not having a valid timing advance for the secondary cell in the time interval, the wireless device may initiate a random access procedure.
System and Method for Uplink and Downlink in Multi-Point Communications
A user equipment (UE) may receive first configuration information of a carrier of a serving cell, including a first association of a first group of uplink (UL) signals or channels on the carrier in the serving cell with a first UL timing advance group (TAG) of the UE, and second configuration information of the carrier including a second association of a second group of UL signals or channels on the carrier with a second UL TAG of the UE. The UE may transmit a UL signal/channel in the first group of UL signals or channels according to a TA value of the first UL TAG, and transmit a UL signal/channel in the second group of UL signals or channels according to a TA value of the second UL TAG.
Coordinated Access to a Satellite Link Using Data Profiles
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for coordinated access to a wireless link through data profiles are disclosed. One method includes receiving through the wireless link, by each hub associated with a base station, one or more data profiles from a network management element, receiving, by each hub, data from data sources associated with the hub, controlling, by each hub, a timing of communication of the data for each of the data sources from the hub to the base station through the wireless link based on the one or more data profiles, allocating preamble codes to each of the data sources, wherein different preamble codes are allocated to different data sources of different hubs that report within a margin of time of each other, and including the allocated preamble codes with the data of each of the data sources.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING DRX RTT TIMER
The present application relates to a method and an apparatus for determining DRX RTT timer. One embodiment of the subject application provides a method for determining a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) Round-Trip Time (RTT) timer, which includes: determining an offset value based on at least one of the following parameters: a timing advance value, a common offset value, ephemeris information, and an offset value of a timing advance; and determining the DRX RTT timer with the offset value.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A wireless communication device having a control section configured to control transmission and reception of a wireless signal by an antenna in conformity with a designated communication standard, wherein the control section controls a timing of causing the antenna to transmit a second signal in response to a first signal received by the antenna, on a basis of fixed time and delay time related to internal transfer in the wireless communication device, the fixed time being decided in advance.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND NETWORK DEVICE
A wireless communication method includes: performing, by a terminal device, a related operation used for propagation delay compensation (PDC) in response to that a first PDC execution condition is satisfied.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND APPARATUS
Provided in embodiments of the disclosure are a communication method and device. A terminal device receives configuration information from a network device, and transmits timing advance (TA) information to the network device according to the configuration information. The TA information is configured to indicate a TA value determined by the terminal device.
