Communication Method and Apparatus
This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: A relay terminal receives first identifier information from a remote terminal, where when the remote terminal is in an idle state, the first identifier information includes an S-TMSI of the remote terminal, and when the remote terminal is in an inactive state, the first identifier information includes an I-RNTI of the remote terminal. When the relay terminal obtains, through monitoring, a first paging message including the first identifier information, sending, by the relay terminal, the first paging message to the remote terminal or sending first indication information to the remote terminal, where the first indication information indicates that the remote terminal is paged.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR CONTROL OF CROSS-BANDWIDTH PART (BWP) WAKE UP SIGNALING (WUS) ACTIVATION
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for control of cross-bandwidth part (BWP) wake up signaling (WUS) activation are provided. One method includes configuring a user equipment with a wake up signaling (WUS) bandwidth part (BWP) and a plurality of non-wake up signaling (WUS) bandwidth part (BWPs), and transmitting a wake up signaling (WUS) indication.
Information transmission method, equipment and computer-readable storage medium
An information transmission method, equipment and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes that: the base station sends indication information on a first channel for performing a first service, wherein the indication information comprises at least one of information associated with a second channel or a timing instance at which a terminal monitors the second channel, the second channel being used for performing a second service, and sends configuration information for the terminal on the second channel. The method can avoid the high power consumption caused by the continuous monitoring of the terminal and reduce the impacts on performance of the other terminals.
WIRELESS DEVICE GROUPING MECHANISMS AND NETWORK CONFIGURATION FOR FALSE PAGING REDUCTION
A wireless device, UE, in a communication network can receive a paging configuration indicating a paging occasion, PO, from a network node. The UE can further receive a downlink control information, DCI, on a physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, during the PO. The UE can further determine whether to receive data on a physical downlink shared channel, PDSCH, associated with the PDCCH based on the DCI and/or the paging configurations.
DCI transmission method, terminal, and base station
A DCI transmission method, a terminal, and a base station are provided. The method includes: receiving DCI, wherein when there is simultaneously in a network a paging message for an idle-state terminal and a change of system information, the DCI carries PDSCH scheduling information for the paging message and a short message; otherwise, the DCI carries the scheduling information or the short message, where the short message is used to indicate the change of system information; and obtaining at least one of the scheduling information or the short message from the DCI.
Paging procedure enhancement
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, techniques for an enhanced paging procedure. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes detecting, during a paging occasion (PO), at least one downlink control information (DCI) that indicates a paging message and additional downlink signals and using the additional downlink signals to enhance processing of the paging message.
RESOURCE DETERMINATION METHOD, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND NETWORK DEVICE
The present application relates to a resource determination method, a terminal device, and a network device. The resource determination method comprises: a terminal device determining a time interval between a time-domain resource and a paging resource of an energy saving signal; and on the basis of the time interval, the terminal device determining a time-domain resource for detecting the energy saving signal. According to the embodiments of the present application, by means of determining a time interval between a time-domain resource and a paging resource of an energy saving signal, a terminal device can correctly receive the energy saving signal.
WAKE UP SIGNAL TRANSMISSION FOR NR-LIGHT SYSTEM
Methods, a remote unit and a base unit are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method at a base nit, comprising: generating a wake up signal which indicates that a remote unit shall attempt to receive a paging message in a paging occasion, wherein the wake up signal is generated by L base sequences, each of the L base sequences is mapped to a base resource unit, where L is an integer, wherein the base resource unit includes M continous Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) in frequency domain and N continous Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols within a slot in time domain, where M and N are integers; mapping the wake up signal to a frequency-time resource; and transmitting, to the remote unit, the mapped wake up signal in the frequency-time resource.
OPERATION METHOD RELATED TO PAGING MONITORING IN A SIDELINK RELAY IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
In an embodiment, there is provided a method of operating a relay user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The method may include: establishing, by the relay UE, a connection with a remote UE; monitoring, by the relay UE, a paging occasion of the remote UE; and based on presence of a paging message related to the remote UE on the paging occasion, transmitting, by the relaying UE, the paging message to the remote UE. The relay UE may stop the monitoring of the paging occasion of the remote UE based on a notification included in a radio resource control (RRC) message from the remote UE.
