METHODS FOR MULTI-SIM UE CONNECTED MODE OPERATION

Methods and apparatuses are described herein for multi-subscriber identification module (SIM) connected mode operation. In one embodiment, a wireless communications device may receive, from an access stratum interface, a request access to the receiver chain during a receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the receiver chain is available during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a response indicating access is granted to cause the access stratum interface to receive a downlink transmission during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may receive, from the access stratum interface, a second request for a transmitter chain during a transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the transmitter chain is available during the transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a second response indicating access is granted to enable the access stratum interface to transmit an uplink transmission during the transmitting opportunity.

Performing a synchronization to allow a second wireless communication circuit of a wireless device operating in a second wireless communication network to operatively coexist with a first wireless communication network of the wireless device operating in a first wireless communication network in one or more wireless communication channels according to a time division multiplexing (TDM), wherein the method includes determining whether the one or more wireless communication channels are busy comprising determining whether a packet has been detected by the wireless device in the one or more wireless communication channels and/or determining whether the wireless device has sensed energy in the one or more wireless communication channels when one or more back-off counters associated TDM plan is zero; and granting to the second communication network, in response to determining the one or more wireless communication channels are busy, use of the one or more wireless communication channels.

NEIGHBORHOOD MANAGEMENT BETWEEN WIFI AND UNLICENSED SPECTRUM RADIOS

Techniques for neighborhood management between WiFi and unlicensed spectrum radios. A wireless access point (AP), including a first radio, identifies a neighboring second radio operating using at least a portion of an unlicensed radio spectrum, based on a time that the AP receives a transmission from the second radio using a frequency within the unlicensed radio spectrum. Transmission between the first radio and the second radio is synchronized by identifying a clock offset between a first clock relating to the first radio and a second clock relating to the second radio.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR PROTECTING V2X COMMUNICATIONS FROM NEAR-BAND INTERFERENCE
20220408447 · 2022-12-22 ·

The disclosure relates to systems, methods, and devices for protecting Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications (also known as intelligent transport systems (ITS) communications) from spurious emissions of nearby wireless devices operating in near-band or adjacent frequency bands. The system detects radio signals of a nearby ITS communication device, determines its radio communication parameters, and determines an interference condition based on whether the wireless device may interfere with the ITS communication device. The system also requests a change, based on the interference condition, in the radio subsystem communication parameters of the wireless device. The system also determines a geographic location of the wireless device, and, based on whether the requested change complies with a regulatory requirement of the determined geographic location, implements the requested change.

System and method for coexistence of grant-free and grant-based uplink traffic

Systems and methods of scheduling grant-based traffic and mapping resources for grant-free traffic are provided. Grant-based traffic is scheduled in a first frequency partition, and grant-free traffic is mapped in a second frequency partition. In a first option, grant-based traffic is also scheduled in part of the first partition, but in a limited manner that ensures a given device's transmission and retransmissions do not all experience interference with the grant-based traffic. In another option, some grant-free traffic is mapped to part of the second partition and is spread in frequency across the second partition.
