Wide area positioning system
Systems and methods are described for determining position of a receiver. The positioning system comprises a transmitter network including transmitters that broadcast positioning signals. The positioning system comprises a remote receiver that acquires and tracks the positioning signals and/or satellite signals. The satellite signals are signals of a satellite-based positioning system. A first mode of the remote receiver uses terminal-based positioning in which the remote receiver computes a position using the positioning signals and/or the satellite signals. The positioning system comprises a server coupled to the remote receiver. A second operating mode of the remote receiver comprises network-based positioning in which the server computes a position of the remote receiver from the positioning signals and/or satellite signals, where the remote receiver receives and transfers to the server the positioning signals and/or satellite signals.
User equipment and methods of bearer operation for carrier aggregation
Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE) to support dual-connectivity with a Master Evolved Node-B (MeNB) and a Secondary eNB (SeNB) are disclosed herein. The UE may receive downlink traffic packets from the MeNB and from the SeNB as part of a split data radio bearer (DRB). At least a portion of control functionality for the split DRB may be performed at each of the MeNB and the SeNB. The UE may receive an uplink eNB indicator for an uplink eNB to which the UE is to transmit uplink traffic packets as part of the split DRB. Based at least partly on the uplink eNB indicator, the UE may transmit uplink traffic packets to the uplink eNB as part of the split DRB. The uplink eNB may be selected from a group that includes the MeNB and the SeNB.
User equipment and methods of bearer operation for carrier aggregation

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify at least one of a control resource set zero (CORESET0) field or a search space zero (SS0) field in a master information block (MIB). The UE may identify, based at least in part on whether the UE is a reduced capability UE, at least one of: a CORESET0 configuration associated with a first value indicated in the CORESET0 field, or an SS0 configuration associated with a second value indicated in the SS0 field. A method for allocating resources by a Base Station (BS) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes configuring a Resource Block Group (RBG) dependent on whether a User Equipment (UE) operates in Full Duplex Radio (FDR) mode or Half Duplex (HD) mode, and allocating resources to the UE in units of the configured RBG. The RBG includes a plurality of Resource Blocks (RBs).

The method for reporting a multi-connection transmission capability comprises: receiving, from a base station, a UE capability query message, the UE capability query message being used to request the UE to send a wireless access capability of the UE for accessing an access network; generating a UE capability information message in response to the received UE capability query message, the UE capability information message being used to indicate the wireless access capability of the UE for accessing the access network and comprising bearer types and/or transmission manners supported by the UE; and sending to the base station the UE capability information message.
