In one aspect, the first device communicates with the access point during the first time interval through a first wireless communication. In one aspect, the first device prevents communication with the access point during the second time interval. In one aspect, the first device communicates, as a soft access point, with a second device during the third time interval within the second time interval through a second wireless communication, the third time interval shorter than the second time interval.
LINKAGE OF MSG3 REPETITION REQUEST AND MSG4 PUCCH REPETITION
Method and apparatus to link a Msg4 PUCCH coverage enhancement and a Msg3 repetition request. The apparatus transmits a PRACH to initiate a RACH procedure, the PRACH including a request for a first coverage enhancement associated with the RACH procedure. The request includes information related to at least a second coverage enhancement associated with an acknowledgement associated with the RACH procedure. The apparatus receives a random access response associated with the RACH procedure. The first coverage enhancement may correspond to a repetition request for a RRC connection request message. The second coverage enhancement may correspond to a repetition request for an RRC connection setup message.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RANDOM ACCESS
A method for random access performed by a terminal device comprises determining an association between random access resource and shared channel resource for a request message for a random access procedure, based at least on whether a frequency hopping is enabled for the shared channel resource, or when a frequency hopping is enabled for the shared channel resource; and transmitting, to a network node, the request message according to the association. An association between random access resource and shared channel resource of signaling transmissions in a random access procedure can be configured flexibly and efficiently.
Transmission apparatus and transmission method of resource assignment information
A transmission apparatus comprises an assignment information generator which, in operation, assigns resources on a resource unit (RU) basis to one or more terminal stations (STAs) and generates assignment information that specifies RUs allocated to the one or more STAs; a transmission signal generator which, in operation, generates a transmission signal that includes a legacy preamble, a non-legacy preamble and a data field, wherein the non-legacy preamble comprises a first signal field and a second signal field that carry a set ID and the assignment information, and wherein the set ID identifies one assignment set comprising the one or more STAs and a plurality of assignment indices, and wherein the assignment information comprises a resource assignment indication for each of a plurality of assignment which are referenced by the plurality of assignment indices; and a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the generated transmission signal.
Techniques for reservation preamble for low latency detection in a new radio shared spectrum communication system
Methods and apparatuses for transmitting and detecting channel reservation preamble in a NR shared spectrum are described. An aspect may include determining whether a first reservation preamble of a first operator is received on a first time slot of multiple time slots of a downlink channel from a first network entity, and transmitting a second reservation preamble of the first operator on an uplink channel to the second network entity. Another aspect may include generating a first reservation preamble of a first operator based on at least one of a compressed representation in a signal space, a basis function of the signal space, or a CAZAC sequences; and transmitting, on a first timeslot of multiple time slots of a downlink channel, the first reservation preamble of the first operator to at least a UE.
Data transmission method, terminal device, and network device
Embodiments of this disclosure provide a data transmission method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, indication information sent by a network device, where the indication information is used to indicate a first time domain resource used by the terminal device to send first uplink transmission; and sending, by the terminal device, the first uplink transmission to the network device on the first time domain resource, and sending second uplink transmission to the network device on a second time domain resource, where the second time domain resource is a time domain resource determined by the terminal device based on the first time domain resource, and the first time domain resource and the second time domain resource are consecutive or inconsecutive in time.
Beam management for direct and indirect links
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive a random access channel (RACH) message. The base station may determine, based at least in part on the RACH message, whether the RACH message was transmitted directly to the base station by a user equipment (UE) or whether the RACH message was relayed from the UE to the base station via a millimeter wave repeater. The base station may perform a beam management procedure based at least in part on the determination. Numerous other aspects are provided.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING RANDOM ACCESS PARAMETER, AND DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for adjusting a random access parameter, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: a first terminal device sending a random access report to a network device, wherein the random access report is used to indicate a random access situation of the first terminal device; the random access report is used by the network device to adjust a random access parameter; the random access parameter is used by a second terminal device to select a random access type; and the random access type comprises two-step random access and four-step random access. Provided is a method for adjusting a random access parameter, wherein a network device adjusts a random access parameter on the basis of a random access situation of a terminal device that has completed random access, such that the adjustment of a random access parameter can be more accurate.
PRIORITY SERVICE ACCESS USING EDCA CHANNEL ACCESS TECHNOLOGY IN A WIRELESS NETWORK
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for performing priority service access between EHT non-AP STAs or MLDs using EDCA or UORA parameter sets corresponding to enabled links that can be used to derive priority access (e.g., contention window) information of enabled links for NSEP or LL wireless communication. The EHT non-AP STAs or MLDs can enable, configure, and update priority access for NSEP or LL services using protected action frames or beacon frames, for example. Deriving priority information from the EDCA or UORA parameters carried in protected action frames or beacon frames advantageously avoids increasing the overhead of beacon frames and prevents degradation of spectrum efficiency while supporting NSEP or LL priority services.
TECHNIQUES FOR REQUESTING MESSAGE REPETITION IN RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURES
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for requesting message repetition in random access procedures. In some aspects, a first random access message can be generated for a physical random access channel (PRACH) procedure. The first random access message can include a request for repetition of a third random access message. The request can be based on a criterion that is associated with at least one of a maximum allowed transmit power, or a PRACH transmit power. The first random access message can be output for transmission to a node to initiate a random access procedure with the node. In some aspects, one or more parameters related to a threshold for determining whether to include the request can be configured by the node.
